Casa rural KARAKA en el escalón de la puerta del PARQUE NACIONAL ABEL TASMAN

Karaka Bach se encuentra cerca de la playa y es una cabaña familiar de madera de 2 plantas con excelente flujo interior / exterior. Tiene una gran sección totalmente vallada, con vistas al mar. A 2 minutos a pie y estás en la playa, o puedes disfrutar de la cafetería / restaurante con licencia y Sprig and Fern Bar. A solo 3 minutos a pie en la otra dirección y podrás tomar un taxi acuático o un kayak para llevarte al Parque Nacional Abel Tasman,

Este encantador alojamiento cuenta con una cocina abierta, comedor y sala de estar con chimenea de leña para mantener el calor en esas noches más frescas. En la planta baja, al lado del baño, hay una habitación doble privada. Arriba, en un entrepiso en forma de U, hay una cama queen y una cama individual en un extremo, y 3 camas individuales en el otro. Ambos tienen pantallas de privacidad y están separados por un área de descanso / descanso, con acceso a la cubierta de arriba.

Hay una barbacoa para esos días de verano perezosos entretenidos y cenando al aire libre. La propiedad atrae a las aves nativas y es maravilloso escucharla por la mañana y por la noche

Great Abel Tasman location
The place had everything we needed. We cook a lot and there were ample kitchen utensils for all our needs. The wood fireplace worked great. We were able to walk to the water taxi and trail from the home. Highly recommend the home.

Lovely character home in great location
Wished we could hv stayed longer. Lovely character house with everything you need in it. Had dinners outside in setting sun. Lovely walks in surrounding area and close to water taxis taking tours up east coast to Awaroa inlet. Owner came to meet us which was lovely. Would recommend to others and would go there again.

Wonderful place to stay if you want to visit Abel tasman np. Short walking distance to the park, beaches and information centre. The house was very cosy and you can see it was made with love. Beds are good. Only downside is that there is no wifi. But thats it. Jenny was a wonderful host.

holiday stay was comfortable, excellent location for what we needed. Beds are very old and could do with replacing. Bath towels could do with renewing. Neighbors dog barked at everyone walking past the front of the house and this made it difficult to sleep in. Excellent communication with owner.

Ideal location.
Lovely cottage in pleasant surroundings with comfy beds and a great log fire which we enjoyed in the evenings. Handy to Abel Tasman park entrance and cafes. We have stayed here before and I am sure we will be back again. Many thanks Jenny.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at karaka cottage... We spent 3 nightszm, felt very at home and comfortable, beautoful garden and surrounds and so close to the beach and abel Tasman Park! Hopefully make it back again sometime!

Thank you for the incredible stay
Had a lovely time at this batch. Loved the character, location, amenities included, warm fireplace and comfortable beds. Was a great place to escape to and we’ll be back. My friend who came with her child was especially appreciative of the fire guard, babychair, and guard for the stairs!

Comfy, warm, welcoming home from home.
I really enjoyed my stay here. I love natural wood houses and I loved the high cathedral ceiling, the warmth of the wood and that awesome, huge log burner kept us toasty. Really conveniently located for the beach, the Abel Tasman and the pub. A great find.

Gateway to Abel Tasman National Park
Location is excellent. It's less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, water taxi, restaurants and dairy. It is spacious and have most of what we needed during our stay. The only downside is that they don't have a WiFi and cellular reception for Vodafone.

Peaceful beautiful stay at Marahau
We had such a lovely stay at this property. Enjoyed learning about the history of the place from Jenny. The kids had a great time, it was safe, and had everything we could need, even chalk for the kids to decorate the concrete! Loved the space in the back yard, and the kereru flying in and out of the garden. Would definitely stay again, thank you Jenny and family.

7 day holiday
Cottage just as pictures show, fabulous layout for a family, every thing required was provided. location was amazing, 2 mins walk to wonderful swimming beach when tide in, or 10 min drive to Split Apple Rock Beach. Abel Tasman national park meters away with all its wonderful beaches and walks. We had an incredible holiday, peace, birdsong and ocean, we will be back .

The house met all our expectations
The house is ideally located at the entrance to Able Tasman National Park and is very quiet and had many lovely shady spots to relax under.There are also two very handy restaurants. The beach is only minutes walk away
