“The cabin was spotless and beautiful inside. We had 5 guys and had room for four of us on beds and one of us on the couch. The beds and couch were very plush and comfortable.Plenty of dishware and miscellaneous condiments for use. Host provided a full welcome document with what we could or could not use as well as local recommendations for food. “Love this property and hosts.Completely off grid in the middle of the woods. Snowmobile trails were great. We had a small power issue that cut the trip short. 2ft of snow blocked the solar panels and then the backup system had issues. Hosts did everything they could to help, but mother nature kinda took her course. We will be back again, and again. Absolutely love this cabin.”

“My husband and I wanted to have a weekend away for ice fishing. Cabin is in a great location close to the lake. Beds are very comfortable and there's a nice wood stove (gas) to keep the cabin warm. We weren't able to fish on Higgins due to ice not as thick as we'd hoped but we were able to fish on Houghton Lake. Fish we caught too small to keep. We had lunch/dinner at the Cut River Grille at Higgins Lake and the Beechwood Cafe in Roscommon. Highly recommend! Also went to Fred's in...

“We had a great stay here. The house is well furnished with clean linens and towels for you to use. You could tell the property is cleaned well between renters. The beds and furniture were also all in good shape and not broken down or dirty from over use. It’s well located to several restaurants and to Lyman’s on the lake, which is where you’ll want to go for any fishing needs. ”
