Lovely!
We loved staying here! The home was neat and clean. It had everything you would need for the perfect stay. Also, we couldn’t have asked for a better location - so close to beaches and restaurants. We will be back!

Cozy
The home was very very clean couldn’t have asked for anything better in that regard. Kitchen was great only two things missing were a strainer and a dish drying rack but that’s because we like to cook more than eat out. I didn’t realize by the listing that it was part of the owners home but not a big deal just took my by surprise a little . Owner and family was really nice and respected our space. Overall a great stay!

The perfect appartment!
We so loved this appartement ! The location is superb, near the beaches and the city, but in a quiet street, in a really secured area. We felt right at home in the guest house - there's everything you need if you want to cook a good meal at the end of the day, or just relax in front of the tv in the morning. The bathroom is spacious, the bed comfy and everything was perfectly clean. We met the ower once, a very nice gentleman. We recommand this place without any hesitation!

Outer Banks Anniversary Weekend
We were looking for an intimate, but not too fancy or expensive, place to spend a long weekend exploring the OBX concurrent with our anniversary and an opportunity to see a friend perform in The Lost Colony. This seemed to fit the bill online, and was better than expected. It was neat, clean, tasteful, and very quiet all weekend. It was a hot weekend, and the AC and ceiling fans were perfect. Appreciated the provided basic necessities. It was a lovely place to relax. Our only complaint was that we thought the bedroom mattress felt overly soft and saggy, and should probably be upgraded soon. There is a lot to see and do in Manteo and in the nearby Nags Head and Kitty Hawk region, While it is unfortunate that there isn't much within walking distance of this guest house, it was an excellent "home base" for the many short drives we made through out Roanoke Island and beyond.

So nice and perfect location
Like everyone else says, this is just like the pictures and was perfect for our long weekend. It's in a great location and has everything you would need nearby. We are definitely coming back and staying here again.

Beautiful and Private Guest House
The property was beautiful and the owner was excellent. The house had everything we needed. We were able to enjoy a homemade breakfast before headed out for the day. We had a great time in Manteo visiting downtown, going to the various restaurants, seeing the Lost Colony, watching the beautiful sunset by the waterfront and relaxing on the beach. We would recommend this place and can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderful place to stay
Our entire stay was absolutely amazing, this rental is private, clean and so comfortable. The a/c worked so well, and the extra touches like coffee and toiletries made our stay so easy! We were close enough to the Roanoke island park we walked! Olde Towne Creamery had the best ice cream I’ve ever had, overall we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful Home Away From Home
My husband, our two daughters, and I spent 6 days on Roanoke Island. We wanted a quiet, laid-back vacation with plenty of beach time, and we got all of that plus more! This home is the perfect location to use as a base for exploring the outer banks. When we arrived, my husband remarked that it didn’t just seem freshly cleaned, it seemed freshly built/brand new! We had everything we needed to be able to cook meals for 5 nights. It was a cozy, peaceful, relaxing retreat.

Great Location
We visited all the wonderful sites to se in OBC . Loved the Wright brothers Memorial and down town Matteo. Wedding venue was very close to Vista Creek for wedding. Great restaurants close. Jeannette’s pier was easy parking beach and pier access very close. Very nice visit. Only negative everything closes to early at night..

Our anniversary trip in North Carolina
Everything was absolutely fantastic during our stay. The property was gorgeous, and was equipped with so many wonderful features to make our stay more comfortable. You could see just how much work and love went into the making of it. Bonerjes was easy to get into touch with, and was the most welcoming and helpful host. My husband and I will definitely be coming back in the future for another amazing stay!

Great cozey little apartment
Very pretty! The whole guest house looked brand new, and very clean. Our hosts were wonderful and so accommodating with anything we may have needed during our stay. We had our own private entrance, and felt very safe and secure. There was a guest book that we read through from others who had stayed before us, and it gave us further ideas for things to do and great places to eat while we stayed. Check out the Garden Deli Pizza, best pizza you'll have in your life! We would highly recommend this cute little guest house to anyone that wishes to stay in Manteo! Great price, great hosts, beautiful location!

The place was great, clean and homely. It has a dedicated driveway and is in a quiet neighborhood. Its within 10 minutes of drive to Nags Head beaches and there are some good options in Manteo for dinner etc.

Cozy little rental...highly recommend.
The owners have worked hard to get this rental cozy and homey. Close to many of the tourist spots. Glad we found this place and we'd stay again. Owners are super nice and very responsive, they live on site.

Beautiful updated property
Loved the location and beautiful space. One bedroom was perfect for my husband and I. Great linens, towels and bedding. Had everything we needed in the kitchen to Cook fresh fish from O'Neals fish market. Enjoyed the day riding bikes to Alligator River Wildlife Refuge and driving our vehicle on the beach. We hope to be back soon.

Great little place
We loved this cute little place! It’s very nicely decorated and clean. The owners did a great job with this remodel. It’s close enough to town that we walked to the shops in about 20 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. One thing that kinda sucked but not enough to take away a star was that the owners’ small dogs barked and snarled at us every time we walked up the stairs to enter or leave our rental. The fence on the stairs could use a barrier so the dogs can’t see people coming and going. I hate to even bring it up but it did leave both of us startled more than once.
