Very pleasant, clean and comfortable. Good instructions left to guide us. Easy contact with providers by text. Well stocked. Senic. Comfortable outside furnature with great view of riiver. Quiet; just what we needed to celebrate our anniversary. Left surprise cake in refrigerator. Thoughtful.

Cozy River Home
We spent a weekend here and did a mix of activies, including hiking, campfires, and board games. It couldn't have been a more perfect spot! Fantastic location close to Mohican but private enough to feel secluded. Clean, well-organized, and lots of good amenities inside and out. Plenty to do outside ans space inside for games and hanging out. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Another great stay
This our third trip here and there will be plenty more. This place has everything you need except food and beverages. The view is great. We kayaked two days this time. Saw 4 different eagle sightings. We’ve had 6-8 people here and the sleeping arrangements work out.

Quick getaway
Property was beautiful. House was clean and welcoming. Hosts were prompt and helpful. Kitchen stocked with everything you would need for cooking, including crockpots. Fantastic. The games in the garage (Pinball, Pool table, Foosball, and Shuffleboard) were awesome! We had rain every day and they were perfect for keeping everyone occupied. Also worth mentioning is the covered porch with picnic tables, a great feature, this was a life saver to us, with the rainy days. One thing to note - the house sleeps 8 with a bed in the Master, a bed in the bedroom, a trundle bed in the other bedroom and a pull-out couch in the living room, which is perfectly fine. -Just note that if you are traveling as singles, you will be sleeping with someone if you want to sleep in a bed. Listing does reflect bed situation, but it does show that there are two doubles in the living room and there really is only one. Not that it is a bad thing, just a FYI. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here next time we are in the area. Great hosts, great place! Loved it!

A little gem on the mohican river.
We had an amazing time. The home is exactly as it is advertised. It has beutiful views and easy access to the water. They have a binder with all the info you could ever need to enjoy all of what mohican has to offer. We went to a public drop-in area with our own tubes and kayaks. Then kayak/tubed to the house. We also did and outdoor movie (we brought our own projector), made a bonfire and just spent time enjoying the scenery. We let them know we were celebrating my birthday and they left us a special suprise. Which was very kind of them. 🙂 Whenever we reached out they were very quick to respond. The ice machiene was down but they let us know ahead of time so we just picked up a bag of ice and put it in the freezer. The best part was the amazing memories we made. I highly recommend this place. We will be back. 🙂

Extraordinary Property!
The house was amazing, beautiful, clean, fantastic location. The hosts were so thoughtful and gave great detail instructions from location to amenities in the home. Accommodated us when needed and even left us fresh baked cookies! Cannot say enough about this rental, everything was absolutely perfect!

Would stay again!
This is the place to stay if you want to be on the water where the rafters go by! Has a nice deck with lights on the water, plenty of outside tables and a swing facing the water. They supply plenty of towels and detergent to do laundry. The game room was a hit for us with the pool table and shuffle board. We will definitely stay again!

Excellent Location and Clean Home
Spent a long weekend at this gem! It was so clean and also perfect for a group of 8 adults. Right on the river and the outdoor accommodations were stupendous! So much outdoor seating and a beautiful fire pit. We spent our whole vacation outside enjoying the beauty. Excellent communication with owners too. Flawless checkin. We will definitely rent this again for our annual Mohican Trip!

Great family fun!
We enjoyed our stay. Property was in a great location. We have our own rafts, so nice 45 minute float from route 3 back to house. We appreciate that you provided some fire wood. We love sitting by the fire, roasting hot dogs and reminiscing. Kitchen was fully stocked with any small appliance you could need. Lucky for me, you had a crockpot! Thank you for sharing your vacation home!

Perfection
We stayed at this rental with our grandkids as their combined birthday present. It was very clean and exactly as described. It was equipped with everything imaginable. The location was great and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the riverfront with a nice proximity to all things Mohican. The game room in the garage was especially enjoyed on the one evening that we had rain. The host was very helpful with fun suggestions and fast to reply. I would definitely recommenced this rental. 5+ stars out of 5!!!

Excellent eclipse trip
First of all, this place is as well-equipped as any VRBO you will see, particularly in the kitchen. Not just pots and pans and dishes but every type of gadget or small appliance you could possibly need and an entire cabinet full of spices, oil, flour, etc. We went in April to see the eclipse and other than a couple of family members not making it due to health issues, it was a near perfect trip. I'm a fisherman and was somewhat disappointed that the river was high and muddy (due to recent flooding) but caught several nice bass out of the lake. Contrary to the forecast, we got a sunny day and a perfect view of the eclipse. Our only (very minor) complaint was with the labeling for the garbage. There was much debate about the definition of "unburnables" lol. More specific labeling (glass, paper, plastic, metal) would be less confusing. Check-in and checkout were a breeze and with this being just 3 hours from home, we will likely be back. Highly recommended.

Great Weekend Retreat!
Stayed for a long weekend with a couple friends and family. Very well stocked and taken care of property. The river, deck, game room, and outdoor spaces were the highlights of the trip from our perspective. Already booked another trip to same place in August! Highly recommend!

Can’t beat it
If you are looking for a place on the river, this is the place! The house is fully stocked with everything you need. Just bring your favorite drinks and food. Second time staying here, and already looking into 2 stays for next year. We are a group of 8, and have plenty of room at this place.

50th Birthday Girls Getaway
This was my 2nd time staying at this property and I absolutely love it. A group of us girls that have been friends since high school wanted to do a laid back getaway to celebrate turning 50. I had stayed at this property back in June with our family for my Dad’s 83rd birthday and new our group would love it. And they absolutely did. Plenty of room, spacious kitchen, beautiful scenic property right on the river. We had rain but with the large back patio we were still able to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. River Front Getaway truly has a piece of my heart. Thank you to Jeanette and Jude for Sharing your beautiful home.

House is very clean, has a great deck overlooking the river and a large fire pit for sitting out in the evening with a good view of the night sky. It is close enough to town for anything you might need. Makes a good launch point for canoeing or kayaking down river to Greer or Brinkhaven.
