“Well kept and appointed home. Very comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to inquiries and lives close so is able to replace or fix anything quickly. (nothing was broken but a lobster pot had a hole in it and was replaced within 30 minutes!) Great location.”

“Shelley’s house is a perfect place to relax and get away. It’s spacious and has a great view. The warmth of the decor and the big windows add to the beauty. The location is fabulous. It’s in a smaller town without lots of tourists, but allows for easy access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The people in the town are super friendly. We played pickleball at the local community center and really enjoyed meeting others there. I would highly recommend this vacation home and destination!”

“The "cottage" is actually the top floor of a larger structure that had a lobster processing plant on the lower level at some point. (It's not operational now.) The interior space is quite nice, with a spacious kitchen and living room, along with modern bathrooms. Our one major complaint was that one bedroom can be accessed only by going through another bedroom. For a family, that might be fine, but when unrelated individuals are involved, it creates some awkwardness and inconvenience. A...

“Lovely little apartment on the side of the house. Very cozy and inviting, and it had what we needed for our trip to Mount Desert Island. My s/o appreciated having the pull-out couch option downstairs with his balance issues and the narrow, steep stairs were hard for him after hiking all day. It was easy on/off access to everywhere we wanted to go, which was all over the island! Even with it being a main road through town, I did not find it affected my sleep or privacy at all.
