# 456 - Alpine High Retreat - Ski in / Ski out, Walk to Canyon Lodge

Venga a disfrutar de nuestra casa de planta abierta, cómoda, luminosa y elegante, adyacente a Canyon Lodge. Recientemente remodelado y amueblado en un ambiente alpino moderno. Mucha luz natural. Contemple las vistas de la góndola Village y la cordillera Sherwin desde cada ventana o desde la terraza. Relájate y relájate, o Ski-in / Ski-out por el Ski Back Trail directamente detrás de la propiedad. En verano, súbete a las bicicletas de montaña para recorrer los senderos Uptown / Downtown (también justo detrás de nuestro lugar) y regresa para almorzar y cenar. Canyon Lodge está a menos de 10 minutos a pie, o tome un rápido viaje en transporte de 2 minutos.

El dormitorio principal de arriba cuenta con una cama King con colchón Casper, baño completo (acceso a la suite) y TV por cable de 55 ". El segundo dormitorio (loft con puerta separada) ofrece una cama Queen y literas de tamaño completo para adultos y TV por cable. (genial para niños también).

En la planta baja tiene una cómoda sección con una cama extraíble de tamaño completo, en caso de que quiera ver Netflix en el televisor de 65 ". O acomódate junto a la chimenea de gas y juega algunos juegos de mesa clásicos. También hay un segundo baño completo en la planta baja.

Nuestra cocina y comedor de concepto abierto cuentan con una estufa de isla con un mostrador extendido para comer, reunirse y ponerse al día en línea. En los días que tiene ganas de cocinar, la cocina está completamente equipada con todo lo que necesitará.

Guarde su equipo en el Mudroom o tienda en nuestro Canyon Lodge Locker que se incluye con su alquiler.

Nuestro complejo ofrece una bonita piscina (de temporada), jacuzzis, sala de juegos y canchas de tenis y baloncesto. Hay (1) espacio de estacionamiento cubierto designado. Los espacios adicionales están disponibles por orden de llegada.

Somos súper mascotas. Hay una cama para perros, cuencos de agua / comida y golosinas. Por favor no deje a sus mascotas solas. Podemos sugerir varios buenos cuidadores / excursionistas de perros en la ciudad.

Highly recommend!
Gorgeous condo in a great location walking distance to the lifts. Beautifully decorated, clean, and has all the supplies you may need. Also, loved that it was dog friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent property in terms of being nicely updated with a new kitchen, contemporary decor and very clean. The towels and bedding were so white and spotless. The two bathrooms were updated and pretty. Overall, a great stay!

Lovely Mammoth Retreat
The Alpine High Retreat was the perfect getaway for our family of four. The check-in process was easy. I had a couple of questions and the property management responded immediately. The unit was the perfect size for our family, though it could sleep more than four people. VERY clean and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need if you feel like cooking. Each room has a TV with all the access you might want. The location is beautiful, up the hill from the Village, but tucked away from the main street. Beautiful views from the balcony, where we enjoyed our morning coffee. All in all, a great experience! Thank you!

The unit was nice, great water filter, bed was very comfortable. The building needs an update. We recommend the Austrian house and the Harmony Brazilian restaurant, which is new in town both are fantastic.

Awesome stay, minutes from Canyon Lodge
The condo is conveniently located near the Cannon Lodge and served as a great home base for our ski trip. We were able to fit 4 adults and 2 kids very comfortably, with plenty of space to spread out during our down time. The kitchen was very well equipped and in great working condition. Would highly recommend to anyone planning their own family trip in the future!

Great decor and comfort
The apartment looks great. Beds are confortable and appliances are new. A 5th chair is really necessary. And it is good to know that there are 2/3 stairs to get there. So better bring small duffles. Hope to go back again. Unfortunately we were forced to leave 1 day in advance because of blizzard threat and we got no discount. It seems to me that weather conditions in such places should be considered.

This is a clean, beautifully updated condo at Mammoth Ski and Racquet. The beds were super comfortable, kitchen was amazing and loved the floors. Perfect for our family and dog. The location has great views but a long steep walk up from the trolley stop plus very steep stairs to the condo. Pack accordingly if you plan on staying there.

We loved it
The condo was great! The location was excellent. We walked to Canyon Lodge and skied back to the condo. We also walked to the town center for dinners. Communication with the property managers was fantastic. The stairs everyone seems to mention didn’t bother us. The only thing to know (as others have said) is the second bedroom is a loft open to the downstairs. It didn’t bother our boys but good to know before you book. We would stay here again. We are a family of five and it was the perfect size. I personally loved watching the gondola, an added bonus.

Perfect for family travel
This place is exactly as the listing. Close to canyon lodge. It is not super spacious but perfect for family of five travel. You need to drive uphill to the property, so prepare your snow chain on a snowy/icy day. Pack light, as they are three flights of stairs before reaching the unit, no elevator!

Not worth the money
There are a few reasons why I’m saying, “Not worth the money.” I will start with the positives. First, the unit is in a great location. You can drive a minute or two and be in town or on the slopes. Now for the negatives. 1 – When packing, pack light because there are three flights of stairs. The first two flights are very steep, which makes bringing up any luggage a pain. 2 – The property looked like it maybe got a wipe down before we got there. Not sure when the last time the owners or cleaning crew mopped the floors and cleaned the rugs, but our feet were filthy after walking through the condo without shoes and socks on the first day. The cabinets were also dirty-looking and looked like they needed a good wipedown to clean the dirt off of them. The bedding also looked dirty. There was dog hair on the master bedding. I understand having dogs on the bed, but you should make sure the bedding looks clean when you’re renting out a place. 3 – You had to strip all the bedding whether you slept in it or not. I would have been OK with this if the bedding had been clean-looking from the get-go. 4 - The other thing I thought was strange was that they wanted only the towels you used to be placed in the shower before you left. You would think all towels would be cleaned for safety purposes before a new arrival.

Our experience was great! The apartment was in great shape and served our needs well. A couple of details worth mentioning so future guests will benefit. An early check in was requested, but not honored. No reason given, the building and apartment were vacant. We arrived to Mammoth early after a long drive and would have appreciated early access. We were within contract parameters. Little to no hand soap available. Shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion were available so hand soap seems like a no brainer. The unit was clean, and kitchen items are well stocked.

Amazing & Relaxing
This property was great! Everything we needed was there and very convenient. They showered us with gifts and music on our arrival day and made us feel very welcomed and at home. However, there were a couple things that took my family off guard…. We were not told about all the stairs there were to get to our condo and we had our handicap mom with us. That was very hard and constricting on her. Also, the pictures of the condo on the website made the condo look a lot bigger than it truly was. Our overall stay was pretty great all in all though. We highly recommend!

The condo is decorated nicely and comfortable. We were unaware that there were 3 flights of stairs that we would need to climb with luggage. That made unpacking really challenging. The microwave had crumbs and food splatter from a previous guest. There was also hair in the shower, which was a little gross. Outside of those few things, the stay was very nice.

Exceptional Condo
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit. It was comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Everything you need is there! Welcome treats (including for our dogs) was a nice touch. The kitchen has everything you need, truly (even a mixer and a French press)! We loved cooking in the condo. Beds were comfortable. Small balcony has a lovely view of the mountains. Alexa, tvs, Netflix, game console in the loft, all nice touches. Plenty of seating and cozy blankets in the living room. Greatly appreciated as one evening we even had snow. Sadly the hot tubs were closed due to Covid. BBQ’s weren’t as close as we would have liked, there were two by the office which isn’t horribly far away. I believe there were some closer but they seem to have been locked up in the closed hot tub room. That may change once Covid restrictions lift. Be aware it’s 3 flights up. With a toddler and a baby that got a bit old, but we would still stay here again. We didn’t have any issues with parking, 1 garage spot and we had no problem finding first come first served parking spot for the other vehicle. Lovely location, very close to the village and we visited often. We would highly recommend this rental.
