“Mother- daughter trip for senior week. The house was a nice, spacious, and affordable rental, nearby the town of Duck, with a 10 -15 minute walk to the beach. Check in and check out were easy. “Very cute condo and very peaceful. We thought we were going directly though the owner and VRBO , we were wrong it was through Vacasa and not the owner . We got their Monday at 8:15 pm, after driving 9 hours , I had to clean the previous guest dishes that were still in the dishwasher dirty. “The property really needs TLC.. many lightbulbs were burned out, furniture torn or soiled, broken windows with duct tape, curtain rods about to fall off……master bedroom was nice, but the mattress needed replaced. Felt like i was sleeping in a hole. The walk to the beach was short and the location is perfect.. the hot tub was very nice and we enjoyed it . I would not book this house again, unless updates were made.”

“This is a great find. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes for us, the pool is about halfway between the condo and the beach. Walking to the shops in Duck took about 15 minutes. Its all very easy to do, and the outdoor shower is very convenient. They have a fully stocked kitchen and had extra towels put out for us too which we appreciated. We will be back!!”

“My husband, daughter and myself stayed this past weekend and it was just what we needed. Condo had the perfect amount of space and was clean. Perfect for a small family getaway, complex had a playground, pool, easy beach access, and applicable parking. Shops/ restaurants close by, and views were amazing. “The rental was small but charming. The renters hospitality was top notch. They stocked beer in fridge and put out chairs, a beach umbrella and surf boards for them to use.
