“The cottage looks as pictured. The two main bedrooms are upstairs and the one bathroom is downstairs which is a bit tricky to find in the middle of the night. Neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and dark at night. Not sure where the beach and boat ramp are. Fireplace heater is lovely. BYO coffee -- no pods provided for even the first day.”

“Busy street and property difficult to find. Property address hard to find. Bathroom door in master bedroom didn’t close and floor uneven throughout the home. Bedroom door doesn’t open all the way due to space constriction. The sheets were dirty we found human hair all over them. Couches have big holes that’s why they have blankets or throws covering them. The rental is next to two Inns. No washer or dryer or dishwasher. Heater/fireplace made noise. Internet was very intermittent. We think...

“Overall cute house and it’s great it’s dog friendly. I expected dog hairs etc but found human hairs in bathroom and dirty towel hanging. Husband found floss stick on ground too. They offered to come clean it for us which was really nice, and we didn’t feel we needed. Bed and couches really comfy. Shower loud noise. Great they have laundry. Overall good stay but very much like a rustic cabin and probably needs a different cleaner”

“The cabin was great! It was a perfect spot for our weekend getaway. There’s plenty to do, and the owners supply everything you need to cook, games and puzzles, canoe/ kayaks, and lounge chairs to relax in. We enjoyed the fire pit, and the absolute peace and quiet. Highly recommended, we’re looking forward to visiting again!”

“Every year we come to the lake to take our kids to camp. It’s always just 2 nights, but we like staying in a house especially now that we have a dog. The Cowbell Cottage was perfect. It was so clean and nicely decorated. We had a lovely time. Ashley was a great host.”

“Everything was wonderful about our stay. One of the best rentals we have had over the years, and Janet has thought of everything, and the house is so very clean. The location cannot be beat with the waterfront, the dock and the swimming raft and loved having the boats available to us.
