It is quite a remote property which was a little nerve wracking at first as our signal was limited but the setting is worth it. Only about 20 mins to St Peters. Our main feedback was just around the compost toilet, whilst eco efficient, it does have a smell and this smell progressively got worse with more use. “L'Ardoise is a beautiful seaside community. We stayed in this house 5 years ago and enjoyed it very much. Last month we returned for a second time to enjoy the privacy, quiet and the amazing views from the deck and the upstairs windows. The house is spacious, well equipped and very easy to find. “We arrived at our destination, only to find a very extremely musty house. We could not stand the smell, even after opening all the windows. Our fault, but did not realize there was no television.
