“Had a lovely last minute visit with 2 friends. Beautiful moonlight over the lake, meals on the deck and swims in the lake. We canoed, paddle boarded and biked in the area - 5 kms to the recreational trail. Ceiling in the loft is probably low for most adults. Scott was very easy to communicate with”

“My family had a great weekend stay at the cottage. Overall the cottage was stocked and setup with everything we needed (with the exception of shampoo which I thought the ad stated was provided - I only found a few bars of soap). The beds and linens are crazy comfortable! The large sofa in the living room is perfect for large groups. We had a boat with us so the dock was amazing to have! Overall a great stay! A few details of the cottage are getting a little well used and will need updating...

“This small cabin has your basic necessities and was just fine for my father and I on our last fishing trip of the year. I booked this location due to having a boat dock where I could keep my boat in the water. Unfortunately, late in the year they lower the water levels on the lake and our boat dock was not accessible due to the low water levels. “We have stayed here before, enjoyed it then so much that it was a natural choice for a return trip to the area. The house is well equipped, Alex is an excellent host and our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The sleeping arrangements are great for families, the kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans you need to have a lovely dinner in. Would highly recommend this property if you’re in the area. ”

The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop. We did go kayaking, but swimming etc. is not an option. You can go to other beaches, but the lake had an E.coli outbreak so there was no swimming. An in-ground pool...

“We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, flexible, accommodating, great communication. Cozy, comfortable cottage, with everything ready for a fun time. We appreciated having access to a few different boats, as well as the library and games room. The lake is beautiful, with a charming little town nearby. The water was very calm when we were there, and we saw a ton of fish jumping. There are other cottages close by on the property, which limits privacy somewhat.”
