La casa de huéspedes de Mabel y Harry está situada en la prístina belleza rural del campo de Indiana. Esta histórica casa de campo colonial ha sido renovada en un refugio de lujo. Una mezcla de lo antiguo y lo nuevo: características arquitectónicas originales y televisores ultra HD; una placa de inducción y una tetera con esmaltes moteados; mesitas de noche antiguas y sábanas y ropa de cama de bambú de la más alta calidad. My daughters sweet 16 birthday party was a success

We decided to host our daughter's sweet 16 birthday party here and it was the perfect setting and the perfect party to celebrate such an amazing young woman. She and her friends all loved it there and they had everything we had forgot to bring. I have 2 more daughters that will be turning 16 one day so this may become a tradition. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Highly recommended.

Great Family Stay

Christmas stay

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Delicious cake, food and drink upon arrival. So nice not to have to go to the grocery immediately. Perfect for our family visiting family for Christmas. Great communications. We didn’t want to leave. Best accommodations in Kokomo.. We will be back.

Another perfect stay

I returned to Mabel and Harry's this month for the third time, bringing a few friends with me to celebrate my 40th birthday. We were delighted to find the house exactly as charming and beautiful as we remembered it from previous years. With the Christmas decorations up, it was the perfect festive setting for a celebration. The thing that really continues to set this rental apart though is Janny's above-and-beyond hospitality. Not only was there a delicious cake in the fridge waiting for us when we arrived, but, when we forgot a few small things behind in the house, Janny found and insisted upon shipping them to us at no charge. I can't say enough about her thoughtfulness, kindness, and hospitality. Thank you, Janny, for a wonderful birthday!

Wedding Weekend

We booked the farmhouse several months ago when my son and his fiance decided to get married in Kokomo. The house was the perfect size for the eight of us and Janny was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend staying, if not for the accomidations, then for the brilliant sunsets.

Family wedding

Mabel and Harry’s Guest house is amazing. The home is absolutely stunning, very clean and so comfortable. Our 37 year old son said “it was the best VRBO he has ever had the pleasure to stay.” The host, Janny, was so kind, thoughtful and quick to respond. She totally surprised us with a beautiful and delicious cake and even stocked other food items-all that were so unexpected; but very much appreciated. Thank you for a fantastic weekend! We really enjoyed your beautiful home, loved your attention to details and appreciated your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Amazing stay for Wedding weekend!

Janny was so incredibly accommodating. Her extra touches were so thoughtful and sweet. The cake she gifted us with for our stay, we ending up using as our wedding cake! Very understanding and allowed both early check in and out. The property is above and beyond as what the listed stated. Overall the house was very warm and inviting, clean and had all things needed for your stay! Would definitely book again and recommend to anyone with a large family or group.Thank you Janny for making our wedding weekend even more special!

Above and Beyond

Oh my! The house was perfect: so homey, inviting, and relaxing. So many comfy and tastefully decorated places to gather in with our friends. The kitchen was SO well stocked with cooking needs, and the yard was spacious and great for playing bocce ball. Janny was detailed with check-in instructions and super responsive when we had questions. The snacks and drinks that were there for us were a special touch. Such a sweet, hospitable experience! Everyone in our group said they would totally come back again. Thank you!!

Perfect home

We found Mabel and Harry’s guesthouse on vrbo, we were thrilled with the home. The farmhouse is beautiful, plenty of space for our family of 10 to spread out, beds super comfortable and Janny’s attention to detail is amazing! The sunsets each night off the back deck were beautiful we will definitely be back!

More than I expected - perfection!

This place is wonderful, we completely enjoyed our short time here and wish we could have stay longer. Everything about this place is exceptional. Clean and full of amenities Plenty of room and glorious sunset! we took advantage of the gas fire pit on the deck and talked the night away. We're already planning another trip where we can stay a few nights.

Sibling Reunion

We grew up in the corn and bean fields of Indiana. We are now in our sixties, seventies and eighties! We are scattered now and don't get to spend much time together. Our getaway was perfect. The house is gorgeous and so comfortingly homey .Each bedroom has its own bath. Absolutely everything you need is provided. In addition Janny s little gifts make you feel so welcomed! Thank you Janny and Thank you Mabel and Harry!

Amazing property for gathering!

We loved our stay at the guesthouse! Everything was beautifully prepared and the hosts thought of everything we might need...including coffee, creamers, and a delicious cake. What a treat! We used this as a place to have a small work retreat and found it to be a lovely experience. If I am ever looking for a stay in the Kokomo area, I will be back. Thank you so much!

stayed at mabel and harrys with my mom, aunt, daughter cousins, sisters and niece and granddaughter. Everyone loved the house! We had a little trouble after a storm and the host was over first thing in the morning to see if we needed anything. Seems like she thought of everthing and more. We are talking about another trip:)

Weekend Wedding

We had a beautiful stay. Everything about the guest house is thought out, from lighting to ambiance. It is a space created for relaxing and catching up with family or friends. We were in town for our nephews wedding and the owners left us items for a delicious breakfast and a sweet treat from a local bakery. It feels like home and is beautiful inside and out! Thanks again.

My husband and I stayed at Mabel and Harry’s for a long weekend while celebrating our son’s wedding. This place is AMAZING! Absolutely beautiful home and my family enjoyed every minute. We loved all the space and my kids loved the outdoor seating. The kitchen has everything and the host surprised us with treats from the area. This place does not disappoint! AMAZING!

This was the most relaxing atmosphere in the home and outside of the home. It was clean and comfortable. I will most definitely rent this again in the future. The host is absolutely wonderful with all her extra touches, like for instance a decorated cake waiting for us in the refrigerator!

Terrific experience

The four of us have been to Kokomo numerous times years past and stayed in numerous hotels which were not very gratifying. We decided to try this property and after arriving, we couldn’t be happier. The property is much nicer than advertised. Quiet, country living at its best. We will be back.

Wedding weekend

Can’t say enough good things about Harry and Mabel’s! Immaculate and oh so comfortable for a large family. Spent two nights while attending a family wedding in the area. It was so nice that we all had our own spaces and bathrooms. The furnishings were luxurious and the country setting was quiet and beautiful. We also really appreciated the special touches such as a lovely cake, farm fresh eggs, coffee and cream. Thanks for a great stay!
