Whilst the holiday home is in the owners garden, it is very much separate and some distance away from their own very large property and garden. It's to the side of their home so not overlooked, with its own entrance and fenced off garden. The garden and car parking area are combined within the holiday home area and dog friendly as it is very secure. We had separate reason to contact and meet both Richard and Becky [otherwise we probably wouldn't have met them] and found them both very friendly, obliging and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. The actual holiday home is fairly compact being a converted Summer House, but even with 2 adults and 2 medium size dogs, it was fine, you soon adapt to size and felt cosy and safe. It might just be a little too cosy for 4 adults in my opinion. Just one observation for those who have mobility challenges; both the bathroom and Kitchen are one step down from the bedroom and lounger/diner respectively. The outside space is much the same, there is one step down from the parking area into the garden leading into the holiday home; that step can be slippery when wet. The Kitchen has been replaced since the Summerhouse photos were taken, so its actually much nicer. The patio area is also larger. The approach roads from the main road between Brockenhurst and Lymington are single track but few vehicles use them. It's roughly 10 mins by car to either town, and not much longer to Beaulieu. We had a lovely 2 week stay. Thanks.
