“We loved our stay at the wonderful cottage directly by the sea. We found it perfect at any weather. If it's sunny, enjoy the gorgeous view from the garden with the patio and if it's cold and rainy, huddle up in the livigroom by by the fire. It's wonderful to wake up, open the (really thick) curtains and see the ocean! Claire is the perfect host. Always available via chat if there's a question and lightning-fast with her replies. Johnshaven is a short dog-walk away with its pretty small harbour...

“We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. Great for dog owners too. ”

“Super stay with truly amazing views. Whilst a steep walk down to the beach and back from the property it was well worth the effort as a fantastic beach. The fact that we had the beach all to ourselves on the first day was an added bonus. Great walks from the property. Property was very well equipped and Gary a lovely welcoming host. “Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”

“Wow! Where to start..? What a stunning place to stay! I wish we had stayed longer! The welcome was lovely our room was amazing! Absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was so good, typically Scottish & a real treat! We went to the sea at Lunan Bay which is literally a 5min drive past the property - this area was gorgeous. Huge sand dunes but a beautiful stretch of beach, peaceful and calm. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended. Thank you for looking after us so well. ”
