“Our stay in Lucca was wonderfully relaxing. Massimo was a great host. He stopped in several times in the two weeks that we were there. His travel tips and suggestions made our trip the most enjoyable we’ve had. The house was nicely furnished but kept a farmhouse charm. The view from the patio never failed to relax us. Very peaceful. We would come back in a heartbeat.”

“Apartment was clean and the owner was very responsive. She helped us by providing some recommendations on good places for morning cappuccinos and pastry as well as meals. The apartment was on the first floor (2nd floor for those in the States). There was a lift but the stairs were very easy to navigate. Convenient access to the Termini train station. ”

“Lorenzo our host generously provided a list of local eateries and directions to the nearest shops for basics.The property itself was clean, well-equipped and in a great location from which to stroll round the streets of Lucca or explore further afield.The sound from the music school which is adjacent to the flat takes a bit of getting used to, but not unpleasant.The flat is attractive, welcoming, if a bit dark inside, but the wee outdoor space is a bonus. Would recommend.”

“The house was just what we were looking for, an oasis of tranquility. It is as it appears in the photos. Beautiful views and perfectly equipped house. Our dog was happy among the olive trees. Highlight how absolutely clean the house was. We did many excursions, we spent time in Luca all within short distance of the house. With car everything is at hand. Massimo very friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!”

“My friend and I had a nice stay at OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment but I am happy we were only 2 of us as 4 or 6 people in there would not have been comfortable. Please also note the apartment was advertised with 2 bathrooms - that is not true - the apartment has got 2 toilets but not 2 bathrooms - there is only one shower. For 2 people it was nice and spacious with a living area, kitchen and toilet downstairs and a double bed, 2 single beds and a bathroom upstairs. The location was perfect...

“Lucca was better than expected! It's like the whole town lives in a story book! Both the city and the apartment are really great and have tons of character. We would stay here again. Also, the host responds very quickly.My only complaint is that the king mattress needs to be replaced (probably like 10 years ago). ”

“The apartment is a short walk (7 minutes) from Lucca train station, and the description is accurate - apart from there being no separate terrace accessible from the kitchen. The courtyard garden is nice to have for eating outside etc. The apartment did seem a little dark, but that's the nature of the building. Our host was very helpful, and a few minor issues found upon arrival were rectified on the same day.One suggestion is to provide some tea-bags / coffee for guests.”
