“Just inside Maine from NH, clean, well appointed older 2 BR cottage. Incredible views of White Mountains. Hosts were charming, kitchen welll furnished, hosts charming and flexible. Not a tourist-jammed part of Maine in July/August, marina short drive with reasonable rental prices, beach on Kezar Lake is OK, no. Whit Tie restaurants, all townies and feed caps. Very relaxing! Window AC in master bedroom, rest of house is “open the windows””

“We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!”

“Property was overall clean, water was not very potable and the grill was infested with mice. Only real issue was the listing offered a private boat launch and the key happened to be lost in the mail so our boat launch was unavailable to use which forced our group to use the extremely busy public boat launch 18 minutes away. The host did refund $100 to my account for inconvenience. I feel this was an avoidable problem because we booked months in advance and had conversations with the host about...

“We had a great time boating and enjoying this lakeside home. The house was clean inside, and spacious as pictured. We also loved visiting Screw Auger Falls and Moose Caves…just a short drive away. I suggest that there be more kitchen towels available as well as washcloths in the bathrooms. The outside of the home could’ve used some cleanup as well. ”

“We spent a week on Sheep Island in July 2024. We loved it. The accommodations were beautiful, the kitchen well enough equipped, the beds comfortable, the lake clean and the view amazing. We had 2.5 days of rain so were glad for the games and puzzles available. I think it would have been nice to have a clothesline for the swimming towels to dry. The chairs in the main area were about the only thing we would change. With the amount of rain, we were stuck inside but not very comfortably. ...

“We have been renting on Long Lake for many years and were so happy that we found this cottage for our family this year. The cottage was better than advertised. All of the accommodations you could possibly need. The location on the lake is also amazing! We spent endless hours on the great dock and using the swim raft. The sunsets across the lake were also incredible! We hope to return again next year!”
