“We had a problem accessing the security key numbers - x2 - necessary to get into the property. Hotels.com app failed and both tel calls and emails to the owner failed for over 2 hours. Finally got access. Will probably mean that I won’t stay in accommodation that doesn’t have a front desk in future. Otherwise a comfortable stay near centre of town. Clean, quiet with plenty of room. Missing coffee pods in supplies left for guests. Thank you.”

“The best rental place we have ever stayed in! Everything and more was provided and all top quality, definitely a home from home. Janet is an excellent host and couldn’t do enough for us the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The views are to die for and even with the not so good Irish weather we still managed to do so much. “Enjoyable couple of days in Newcastle. Apartments are very central and pubs, restaurants within easy walking distance. Very comfortable and clean. There are stairs to all apartments and we got a parking space in the car park at the seafront which was a few minutes walk away. The living area was very spacious with cooking, dining and seating areas. The bed was a bit awkward to access as bedroom is narrow but it was very comfortable. “We had a fabulous stay at Ashside Cottage. We were welcomed by Richard and Caroline who gave us a tour of the house and filled us in on places of interest in and around the area. “Awesome This house is perfect for a family. Great spaces, super kitchen, family room and three bedrooms. All excellent. The host was so quick on communication, and suggested some great places to eat and suggested to reserve at these places as they are very busy. We did and where not disappointed. This is a dream for hikers as the national park is across the street. It is a gem. Thanks for a great stay!!”
