“Sharon and Gil were so nice, hospitable, and accommodating and I ultimately had a decent stay. I want to be sure to let other visitors know there are some things that may help align expectations, as a past guest, so you don’t get disappointed. This rental is not “brand new” anymore, and I think this listing is overdue for a revamp/ update. “This property was just as described and the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating with answering questions. The property was comfortable, extremely clean, and nicely decorated including quality linens and towels. The location is central for walking to either side of the harbor. The guest handbook came in quite handy for finding dining referrals and miscellaneous house instructions. I highly recommend this property and these hosts as I am sure their others are as well kept. “This cottage was perfect for our stay. It is comfortable, clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. The view down to the pond is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and charming -- we really enjoyed being in East Boothbay, as compared to the busier and more crowded Boothbay Harbor. There are several good hiking trails in the area, and so many other interesting things to do. Highly recommend! We would happily stay here again.”
