“Clean and spacious bach that my mates and I spent one night at during our roadie. Heaps of rooms to accommodate everyone, as well as two lounges. Lots of space in the backyard too, to safely park my car. Will hopefully return!”

“The property is well located and a short walk from the main township. Its very clean and the interior has been completely renovated, so very modern.There is a beautiful view from the deck which is really nice to see first thing in the morning.We would definitely stay here again.”

“We really enjoyed our 4 day stay. The views from the house and deck are stunning during the day and by night the stars are amazing! We enjoyed our climb up Paku hill and walk to the beach, as well as trips to Whangamata, Cathedral Cove and Whitianga. The creaks and bangs can be noisy - as mentioned by others - but it wouldn’t deter us from staying again.”

“Thank you for a great stay in Whangamata. We found this property a really cool bach, with everything our family needed. It was clean, tidy, well-equipped and comfortable. It was also safe for our young family and dog.Great communication and flexibility by the owner too.Thank you! ”

“This property is on the ground floor. It is quite large with a separate bedroom, and even a laundry. Very clean. I appreciated an outdoor shower to clean sand off and an excellent area in the carport for drying clothes.The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, a convection microwave and a closed off pantry/storage area.The beach is right across the road from the beach. Perhaps be aware that it is quite a busy road and therefore noisy. ”

“This is an older home, a time capsule from the 1970s. Has been well maintained, bathroom has been updated. Has a newer conservatory on the front deck. Furniture and beds are comfortable. Beach access is directly across road. Road noise is not terrible, traffic all but disappears at dusk”

“Loved this property. Amazing views and just a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing. The driveway is a little challenging with a big car but we got used to it. Great communication from the owners. ”

“We were a family of five plus two extra teenagers. We enjoyed our stay at WhangaBach. It is in a great location - a couple of minutes walk to town and only a few more to the beach. It's a very spacious section, so lots of room for cars, bikes and games. It has a lot of beds, although the bunk room in the house is very small. We found it comfortable for seven people and the sleepout is fairly spacious and convenient with it's own bathroom and small kitchenette. ”

“I've walked past this little bach many times over the years and admired it, but staying in it was so much better than expected. The comfort, the proximity to the beach, the views and the outdoor shower with a proper door you close and hot water, was Heavenly. The bar straight off the kitchen totally enhances this bach experience we loved it. My teenage daughter loved the bunk cubby. We'll be back for sure.”
