The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome.
We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!”

Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it).

“Great place - we got the 2 bedroom suite. The balcony view was amazing, the kitchen with a full sized fridge freezer was very useful to us as we were travelling with kids. The beds were comfortable and the parking below was very easy to use. The suites are almost on the beach, a 1 min walk away from the playground and a takeaway, 3 mins walk to the woolworths and a 3 minute drive away from the other cafes, restaurants and the ferry.
The only thing that would have pushed this to a full 5*...
