“Under construction in the breakfast area. claimed the breakfast was best around, but it is really your typical breakfast you receive at any given 3 - 3.5 star hotel, at least in our experience. Eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurt. I would have the front desk clerk "tone down" her description of the breakfast. Yes it was nice, but not any different than most hotels in that category. We only stayed one night and it was nice.”

“My sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at the Shell House for Thanksgiving this year but also to have a small memorial for my mom who passed away in August. It was the perfect place to be together and remember her and celebrate her favorite place be, the MS Gulf Coast, where she grew up. The place has everything and even though the setting is perfect, and the decor is just beautiful, it has a feeling of "home" and that is what we miss the most about our mama. “Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. My husband and U are originally from Long Beach. We moved to Southaven after Katrina destroyed my husband’s dental practice. We were married in the ruins of St. Thomas Church on June 3, 2006. It was my husband’s wish for his Celebration of Life service to be held there as well. I stayed there along with our oldest child and his family. It was a wonderful place for us to be all together. Thank you!!!”

“This is truly a beautiful location. I’ve been to a lot of beaches on the Gulf, but never the Mississippi coast. The Live Oaks, the beautiful beaches uncluttered by hotels, restaurants, and condos, the peaceful, calm vibe. This is the one perfect place to RELAX! Also, I guess because it’s so close to N’Orleans, there are lots of good restaurants with GREAT food!”
