“…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. Definitely older overall but we weren’t looking for luxury and I think it was appropriately priced. Felt like someone lived there when it’s not being rented, which I understand but some personal items (specifically bathroom) could have been stored away. Overall we would stay there again. ”

“We came for a hockey tournament and wanted to bring our dog. House was great - beautiful view of the lake. Easy drive into town. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, they really enjoyed the hot tub! My favorite part was the master bathroom, what a great shower and the heated toilet seats were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked. Great host - very communicative!”

“We all had a wonderful stay at the home across a long weekend. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The kitchen has plenty of space for many people to cook. Living room comfortably fit 12-18 people and the temperature was comfortable.Only thing to note was the piano was fairly out of tune and the trundle pull out was a bit dirty but otherwise everything was clean.”

“Had an amazing long weekend at this lovely home. Stayed for a few days after new years and it was still decorated for Christmas which was a nice homey touch. The house is set back from the road and very private which was great for hot tub usage. We really loved having our morning coffee in the hot tub and watching the birds flying around the feeder. Location was great as well, 15 minutes away from the Seneca wine country with dozens of options for wineries and breweries. We had a great stay! ”

This cottage worked out perfectly - it was plenty warm, the backyard and patio are private and lovely, and the cottage is spacious with helpful features (great buffet shelving near large dining table).
