“The room was blah - not bad but nothing special, plainly decorated. Disappointed that the gym closed at 7 PM - for a spa hotel it should be open much later, many chain hotels now have 24/7 gym access. Breakfast was also unnspiring, although the service was fine. Eggs were overcooked (ordered over easy), sausages were dry, Just adequate and not up to par for a nice hotel. Nothing special, far from Wadebridge (7 miles, 16 minute drive) even though Wadebridge is in the hotel address - - I thought...

“Stayed three nights. First night booked via hotel. Second and third nights cheaper through Expedia…. Hotel would NOT price match as their website states!! Rooms AMAZING… but make sure you ask for a room with stone walls and ceilings to get the full cell vibe… our first room had mainly white painted walls and white ceilings… When I realised I asked to move rooms and eventually it was sorted. Reception staff friendly but need more training in customer service. The housekeeper was more helpful...
