The pictures accurately depict the beautifully renovated house. It's in a great location and only 15 minutes to the Cliffs of Moher.
There are some issues that were minor for us, but could be larger for others.
1) The heat didn't work on two separate occasions. They had to come out and fix it both time, which they did rather quickly (when they were in the office the next day). It wasn't too cold, so it wasn't a huge problem, but could be on colder nights.
2) We slept upstairs. But if you sleep in the downstairs, I'm confident you will be awoken if anyone else wakes before you or goes to the bathroom in the night. The new floor boards are the loudest things I've ever heard outside of the next point. They don't appear to be installed tightly enough. So every step is a wakeup call.
3) There's a water pressure pump downstairs. It is frighteningly loud, like a garbage disposal and doesn't only trigger when the water faucet is on, it can randomly trigger, especially if you use the bathroom across from it. We had to turn it off when we went to sleep (and we were upstairs).
Because we turned it off and slept upstairs these weren't big problems for us. But I would recommend addressing them for groups that will need to use the downstairs.
That sounds like a lot of negative things, but we really did enjoy our stay and loved the house otherwise.
