Everything about this listing is misleading and wrong. The only time the host communicated was to accuse me of not paying two days before checkin (I paid 7 months in advanced and they harassed me while I was at the reception dinner for a wedding). Day of checkin, I arrived, had to chase the host for arrival details and then when I finally got in touch, they wouldn’t let me in for 2.5 hours after the check in time. Said the cleaning lady was still there? But never communicated anything. Not even when I was okay to go back hours later I had to just walk in after being stranded for hours. Then when I finally got in, there’s black mold around the bathroom fan.
If you can see you probably don’t want to stay here because the lights barely work and if they do, they flicker horribly. On the other hand if you can’t see you probably don’t want to stay here either because although advertised as a first floor steps from the beach, it’s up three flights of stairs and in a non walkable area near a highway and commercial marina.
Misleading all around, poorly managed, only stayed one night due to health and safety concerns. Saving grace was when the host said they’d refund me for the nights I didn’t stay but when I relayed that to VRBO support they went back on their word and are now refusing to refund. Truly a horrible experience with a horrible host. Property could maybe be redeemed under other ownership but don’t ruin your trip like I did by having to deal with this person.
