When we arrived and walked inside the indoor temperature was very hot, well above 90 degrees. It was so hot that picture frames had fallen off the wall because they had used tape to hang them up. This place does not have Air Conditioning, even though several of the pictures included in the listing clearly show AC wall units, but none of them work. I contacted property mgmt and was told AC is not included. The listing clearly stated "includes washer/dryer", but it does not. False advertising and I would not have booked had I known there was no AC or washer dryer. Hopefully they will fix the listing before other guests are deceived. This hideaway cabin is located on one of Maine's highways. In fact the front porch is only 20 steps to the highway where cars are driving by fast. This means you hear all the traffic every time a car drives by. And since there was no AC, we had to leave all the windows open or die from heat. The car noise was loud, especially when a truck went by. The bedroom closet is full of plumbing, water tank, filter, pump for the well water. This makes random noises all the time. Since we had to leave all the windows open because no AC, we did not feel safe leaving our stuff in the cabin, so we took our things with us anytime we left. After two nights here my family was very happy to leave. This place was not worth the price we paid and was our least-liked stay on this trip to Maine. And now the good. The cabin is cute and it was clean.
