Nice get away
Not what we expected, bigger house then I expected but that was my fault. lots of room, stairs are kinda scary, shower in basement does not work, I thought this was a house by Roads end, which we looked at , but overall , a place to stay . Will definitely get something smaller one level next time.

Terrible experience
I reserved a last-minute stay for my family and me, but I experienced several issues. The sheets and towels had stains, the rug inside the house was very dirty, and there were both dead and live bugs around. When I moved the nightstand to place my phone on it, I found insulin needles on the floor.The house was listed on Vacasa, which I didn’t realize initially. I called Vacasa and sent pictures of the issues. They sent someone to clean the area, but he was extremely unhappy about working on a Saturday. While attempting to put a piece of glass in the bathroom, he accidentally broke it, angrily cleaned up the floor, and took out the trash.Vacasa’s response was poor—they simply asked what the problem was and, after 24 hours, sent an email or text saying, “It looks like you’ve taken care of it,” when in reality, no action had been taken to resolve my concerns.The upstairs shower didn’t work properly—it couldn’t mix hot and cold water. The hot tub wasn’t ready for use for a day and a half.The thermostat was outdated and analog, requiring manual adjustments throughout the day and night because the room temperature fluctuated. When we arrived, the house was set to 60 degrees, colder than the outside temperature in winter. The fireplace wasn’t functioning because it needed servicing.There were no extra sheets to replace the stained ones, so I had to cover them with a pillow. Overall, the experience was very disappointing.

Not a very good vacation beach house.
The house is in desperate need of proper repairs and maintenance. I feel like there should be some sort of standard to a vacation beach home when paying such high prices. The price did not match what we got. - stairs are steep and there was duct tape on each step that was holding the flooring on - fireplace didn't work, igniter wouldn't light. - There is a VCR and DVD player with lots of movies, however no way of hooking it up to the TV - The blinds in the downstairs bedroom that faces the road wont close. (lack of privacy) - Downstairs bathroom doesn't have a fan so humidity was an issue - Outside hose wasn't working so no way to wash sand off without taking items inside - upstairs bed shared wall with outside hot tub, which turned on and woke us up frequently - the oven switch was finicky to turn off, it was in the off position but had to be played with to actually turn off, could be a very serious issue if not noticed -couch needs replaced as it is in very poor condition with rips and tears However, the kitchen supplies were adequate for preparing meals.

The kitchen was not very well stocked. No sheet pans, not enough sillverwear, only 3 bowls, 2 short glasses. The cutting boards should go in the trash. Some items in the house looked like they came from the side of the road with a free sign. Comfortable enough for 7 to sleep but not to cook amd eat. Shabby, not worth rate charged. Wouldnt return.

Would NOT recommend, not as depicted
We were very disappointed with the condition of this home. The pictures are clearly from many years ago when it was freshly revised. Everything is completely falling apart. Toaster handle broken, towels with holes in them, couch with a huge rips in it, banged up furniture, old fridge and stove stabilized by visible pallets of wood underneath. Wall trim and paint completely banged up with holes in the wall in certain areas of the house. Stairs look like they are falling apart with bright yellow duct tape on half of them, dripping leak under the kitchen sink, not even a full set of dishes provided in the kitchen, yard/foliage looks completely unmaintained for months… NONE of the blinds in any of the 4 bedrooms functioned. I could go on. It is pretty ridiculous and uncared for. The only reason it gets 2 star instead of 1 is because it was reasonably clean (aside from closets which featured dead bugs and tons of living ants/spiders). Huge bummer - clearly most positive reviews are from years ago, because this home looks like it hasn’t been checked for decency in far too long. Would not stay again.

Great view
The place has great views from upper floor. No heat on bottom floor except space heaters and if you run both at the same time it blows a fuse. We happened to have very cold weather in March and it snowed the weekend we visited. We had a nice time and the house has some cute qualities but could use some updates.

Gross house!!!
This house is gross. Do not stay here. Rented for a girls weekend. Filthy. Fridge grate filthy, oven crooked & sitting on pieces of wood. Built in microwave handle pulls off & doesn't work. Bottom of dishwasher is exposed. 5 remote controls for TV with no instructions. Only VHS tapes/VCR. Toe nail clippings on the floor. Floors look like they haven't been mopped in months. They were sticky & i didn't want to go barefoot in home. Screen door is broken. Upstairs bathroom reeks & shower is moldy & unusable. Missing towel bar, holes in the wall that have been poorly patched but not painted. Cracked tile floor. Windows cloudy & need to be replaced. Downstairs bedroom wall patchwork exposed and not painted.Spiderwebs in bedrooms. Couch in listing is currently in a heap in the garage. Different brown gross sectional in Livingroom-full of holes. Only sat on it because we put towels down on it. Kitchen table chairs filthy with stains all over seats. Kitchen cabinets sticky and hard to pull open. Hot tub filthy and full of sand. Has a line of orange mold around the waterline. Needless to say we didn't use it. Duct tape on stairs. Outdoor dining table needs to go to dump. its rusted and has jagged edges/half falling apart. Downstairs bathroom has BLACK MOLD! Used Q-tips found on floor. I sent pictures/complaint to Vacasa.This house should not be rented out in this state. Very disappointing especially since it was quite expensive.

Worst stay ever
The house was absolutely disgusting. There was watermelon and potatoes floating in the hot tub, watermelon smashed all over the deck, nails sticking up on the stairs in which I hurt my foot on. All of the appliances were so loud you could not sleep. The couch has a 3 ft rip in it where the stuffing kept falling out of it. Worst stay of my life.

Nice views, good location
The house is large and open. The furniture is pretty worn however and the kitchen was puzzling. The lazy susan cupboards only opened one direction so any items on the off side were inaccessible. There were no teaspoons, only big soup spoons. The stairs were not to code and so narrow it was difficult going up and down. The bathroom shower had a ton of mold and only a towel mat. No rugs in bathrooms at all. I would have taken a bath in the downstairs bathroom but there were spiders in the bathtub. The "yard" was so overgrown our corgi literally disappeared. There was sand in the hot tub making us question how often it's cleaned and sanitized. The most current information about the area was a 2017 brochure. I've stayed in other vrbo places where they keep current local info. Make sure you have a good hand brake because the driveway is much shorter and much steeper than the pictures portray. For the price it was disappointing.

I rented this place through VRBO, but the listing was through Vacasa. Shortly after I received the email with the code to get into the property on the morning we were supposed to check in, I received a call from Vacasa saying that the home owners already had someone staying in the property and that I can't have the property for the weekend. While it was a very stressful few hours explaining to 8 people, who were already packing their vehicles that we might not be able to have our weekend, Vacasa did a great job finding us a new location. This shouldn't reflect bad on Vrbo or Vacasa, but the home owners should be penalized.

Well we had medical issues and wanted to change dates were told no so 1/2 of us went. 1 hour before check in received text that we could we were already in Lincolin city. This was really stressful. House was ok floor at / under edge of couch needed sweeping there were cracker crumbs when couch was pushed to widen the walk between couch and wall. The upstairs large bed room, bed was against the wall where the hot tub pump was it roared all night 2 nd night I pulled bed from wall and slept head at the foot worked ok. No extra garbage bags. Took garbage out Saturday no bags in kitchen to use for Sunday. One of canister lights in living room didn’t work. All in it was ok but would not choose this house again

Disappointed
I booked this trip because I spend 24/7 caring for my 86 year old mother. I just wanted to soak in the hot tub and get away from everything. The hot tub did not work, it was cold dirty and had no power. There were no side curtains and I felt like I was in a fish bowl with no privacy. Being there alone was quite uncomfortable. I was really needing this trip. Instead I cried a lot.

Good House Overall
It’s a pretty house, but there were a few things that need updating, like the rusty doorknob, rusty grill that may or may not work (we didn’t try it, but be sure to bring a lighter if you’re using it as the igniter does not work), and the old fridges that have to be turned up to max. There were only like five forks and about six mugs, but thankfully there was a Goodwill nearby so we added a few to their supply. Also, not a good house for anyone with mobility issues due to the very narrow stairs and distance from the beach access (about a half a mile). Some of our party complained of animal urine smell in places, but I didn’t smell anything, so I can’t say for sure. But the hot tub is nice and overall it was a good house at a fair price. We enjoyed it!

Nice hot tub
The house is nice but could use a little TLC and updating. Beach access is nearly a mile away, but there are a few parking places at the accesses. The hot tub was nice and plenty of towels are provided.

Disappointed
The property wasn't cleaned prior to our arrival. After being thoroughly cleaned by US, and all linen's washed by US, we were able to actually enjoy our stay. It was a great location but the cleanliness was a no go for me.

Great view and plenty of space. No Netflix but som old school vhs movies a and vcr to relax with at night. Jurassic Park and Erin Bronkovich were our faves.

Great Relaxing Home
Very relaxing home. Love the bright colors and all the windows. It is a peek a boo view to the ocean but enough. The only downside was the downstairs level was not very warm. It seemed really hard to heat that level. Next time I would like for a home with less stairs. I don't do stairs like I use to. Very nice home.

Cozy, quiet neighborhood.
We enjoyed this property very much. Good layout of the house, very clean, and a pretty view of the ocean from windows and deck. Very short drive to a nice beach spot. Hot tub was nice, though we couldn’t use it the first night as they dumped the water to clean it due to COVID cleaning procedures and filled it around 2pm, so it wasn’t hot enough until the next day, so be sure to plan accordingly if you want a couple nights with a hot tub. Be careful with noise, as a neighbor complained we were too loud at 4pm while in the hot tub listening to music. People have online school and work, so we get it. But don’t bring your loud-voiced friends. Other than that, everything was great and we enjoyed the house very much. Coffee on the deck in the morning with that view was lovely.

PLEASANT
The property was mostly clean-except for the chards of glass we found in the house-perhaps the previous tenants broke a glass that didn't get all cleaned up. I had a two year old running around so I immediately had to clean the floors. The ceiling was very low when we first came in the door (that was weird). It had great proximity to the beach. Overall the stay was fine.
