Nice property
The property was nice with great views. There water bottle filling stations, so bring your reusable bottle. Pool area was nicer than some of the more expensive resorts in the south side. We enjoyed the bar by the pool, but food was okay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was conveniently located near the airport, excursions, and centrally located to Princeville and Poipu.As for the room, it was basic. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room and just needed a place to shower and sleep. The room can be a little cleaner. There was a makeup stain on the skirt of the bed, a used shampoo bottle, and soap bar left in the shower. The best part was the spectacular sunrise!

Decent room
The pools were nice and empty during the week but weekend was hard to find a chair. Room had ocean view, stayed cool, No microwave in room, hotel is just a little rundown and in need of updates. We didn’t eat at restaurants on property due to high prices and bad reviews. Bars had good lava flows. More of a family atmosphere.

The pool area is set up good. There needs to be some music out by the pools even in the evenings with servers from Shutters lounge. Also, at Shutters they need to have live music going later in the evenings. At least till the end of “Happy Hour”.

Great location
Location was great to go to both sides of island, beach but not good for swimming. Basic hotel room, should upgrade coffee maker to kuerig in order to have morning coffee. Thank you for cleaning room half way thru stay!

Great Place
We had a wonderful time at this resort. The room was clean, the ammenities were great, and the location was perfect. We could get anywhere on the island within an hour. Beautiful spot close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. We loved watching the sunrise over the ocean every morning. We would stay here again!

Nice Unit and a Beautiful Resort
We appreciated getting to stay at a top resort for a discounted rate. The room was very nice, exactly as described. The daily parking fee is high. The resort is convenient to all parts of the island, so it allowed us to explore easily. We enjoyed the resort pools, hot tubs and beach, too.

The property is set back from the highway so very quiet. I never even heard my neighbors. Nice little lanai with peaceful view. Loved sleeping to the sound of the surf. I didn't use the pools but there are several and lovely. We ate twice in the restaurant on site and it was very good and reasonable priced. Minor negatives: It's basically just a hotel room with a mini fridge. The bed seemed old and not very comfortable. Pillows were either flat or too big. Hotel style coffee maker in the room but only one days worth of coffee. Overall still 5 stars because reasonable price for a very nice place.

Easy check in process. Room was clean. Unrelated to owner. Construction in other rooms was annoying. Often started by 6 am. Marijuana smoker near our balcony ruined most times to enjoy. Odor less than pleasant. Staff pleasant during all interactions.

Ocean view from lovely space.
Loved this entire property for everything it has to offer. The room is as advertised on the listing and did not leave us wanting anything. 3rd floor ocean view did not disappoint which also overlooks a huge vacant private lot with various wildlife roaming about. Although functional, room could be updated, my only suggestion would be an upgraded showerhead. AC was amazing, and kept us comfortable during our entire stay. Several pools to enjoy outside of the beach and hot tub also right there. Food options are good for about a 4-5 day stay, before hitting the repeat button. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and neither should you. Being about 2 miles out of Lihue, you may want a rental car, which is the only expense (~$30 day) the resort charged us for.

Great small resort and loved the view from our room. Bad location
This was our second time at Kauai beach resort. We love the grounds and small, quiet feel. Location isn’t very convenient for proximity to restaurants. Nancy was super responsive and helpful. The view was incredible from her unit.

Kauai Vacation
Great place to stay. Pools and room were in good condition. With the private rooms you dont get the cultural activities and yoga, but theres so many other things to do on the island we wouldn't have wanted to do any of that anyway. Nancy was fantastic - answered all questions promptly, was very accomodating with covid travel changes, very helpful with activity recommendations. We had a blast. Only thing was dining options on the resort werent great, but there are lots of restaurants to go to nearby and the room has a fridge and theres a microwave available in one of the buildings so we could make a lot of our own meals.
