This is our third stay to this condo complex - we love the location, easy walk to the beach and food, and nice mid point to explore the rest of the island. I wish the pool were a little warmer, and that there was a hot tub, but otherwise we love it (obviously since we keep going back...)
We did get harassed a bit from the Auntie at the front desk who called us and wanted to us to bring everyone down to the office because she had information that we had 10 children with us (4 adults and one 8-month old in reality), and then told us to stay at the condo use the pool because the beaches would be too crowded with the cruise ship in port....Seriously? She had quite the attitude, and it was not good. We just ignored her and had a great time at the beaches (Kalipaki right there by the condo, Poipu, and my favorite Hanalei Bay on the northeast side.
There are a lot of excellent local eats, and we always make a trip to Kalaheo Coffee and Cafe for breakfast one day - usually on our way up to drive Waiema Canyon. BTW, the last mile of the canyon drive at the top was closed, but we parked and walked up - it was well worth it as there was no one there, and the clouds parted several times for amazing views of the NaPali coast!!!
