Perfect getaway
This was our second stay at this property, the first was over 5 years ago and everything was as perfect as we had remembered. Lovely location, thoughtful details, efficient process with the property owner. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

Beautiful serene atmosphere
We were in town for a college visit and this was a lovely quiet place to stay yet very close to everything! The UK campus, Keenland racetrack and Lexington Castle all within 15 minutes. We loved the open floor plan and beds were comfortable. My daughter loved the loft but know it is open to and above the master bedroom and an accessible by a ladder only. This was fine for her and us but may not be for every family. They had all needed amenities and hosts were accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

Darley View Perfection

Great long weekend
We stayed here during a long weekend of visiting Keeneland, horse farms, and bourbon distilleries. We couldn't have been happier with the decision. The place was in a great location. It was such a unique and beautiful property. The views of the farm in the morning were great to wake up to and the owners were easy to communicate with.

Cozy getaway with a view
We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is exactly as listed. We woke up to watching the sunrise over the field with the autumn trees in the back. The fire pit was nice and we used it the second night. We had all we needed and would book again.

Spectacular Views
Darley View was amazing! Very well stocked and the amenities surpassed our expectations. We loved having wine and bourbon on the patio deck watching the sun set. The fire pit was perfect for the cold nights. Great for a couple’s getaway. We hope to be back.

Wonderful horse country getaway!
Charming accommodations in a beautiful setting. Close to Keeneland, the Kentucky Horse Park and the Bourbon Trail. Tom was a wonderful host and gave us several great recommendations for places to go and things to do in the area. Had a fantastic experience!

Unique and Wonderful Place
Great transformation of a barn/garage. The owners turned the space into a fabulous guest house. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of horse farm. Very tranquil. Owners are very nice and accessible.

Perfect Birthday Getaway!
My husband and I chose this property because of the views, the beauty of the backyard and how gorgeous the pictures of the house were. I've never been more impressed!!! the pictures do not do the property justice! When we arrived it was a beautiful afternoon, we enjoyed resting in the hammock in the back yard. There was a birthday balloon and some chocolate/bourbon liqueur from the host. The upstairs of the house was my favorite part with windows to see the views of the next door horse farm. The ceiling is vaulted and makes the room feel huge. The bed is so comfortable and the sheets are divine! The towels are all monogrammed and they have a basket of random supplies you may have forgotten, razor, feminine hygiene products, etc. They also left chocolates by the bed. Having a fire is one of my favorite things in the world and the host had fire starter and lighters as well as wood in the fire pit!!! I would most def stay here again. It was the most perfect weekend!!

Beautiful view
We wanted a short weekend and accommodations in the country in Lexington.. Darley view fit the bill. We had lived in ky when my husband studied for his PhD many years ago. We had not forgotten how beautiful it was though and sitting outside in the evening watching the four horses in the pasture was peaceful and charming. The decor in the property, horse themed, had been well thought out. The upstairs bedroom area was stunning. I especially like the colors that made the room, and again horse photos. It was nice to be back in Lexington and enjoyed our stay at delightful Darley View.

My new happy place!
This is the most wonderful place to stay. My significant other and I decided to do a workaction in Lexington to get away from it all during Covid and found this gem of a place! You won't believe the incredible view of the neighboring horse farm. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Waking up to the rolling hills and gorgeous horses grazing in the distance is so amazing! The location is great. We enjoyed the Bourbon Trail, golf, hiking, UK and downtown Lexington. Highly recommend a stay here. The owner is fantastic and the home stocked with everything you can possibly need. Can't wait to come back!

Not as private as pictures show
We wanted a secluded and private escape and didn’t get that with this property. The owners live in the house a few yards away that shares the same driveway and backyard. I didn’t see that in the notes on the listing and it doesn’t show up in the pictures. For the price, I would not have booked knowing this. If this doesn’t bother you, the house we stayed in was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. It’s a central location for exploring the area and close to everything you need. Check in and check out was easy. Owners we nice and helpful.

Charming Inn
We went to the Kentucky Derby this past May and as part of our tour package, we visited Keeneland. We liked the track and location and learned about the Fall Horse Racing in October so we decided to book a trip. We wanted to find a location close to the track as well as something that would immerse us in the whole "horse country" feel. We found this gem of an Inn with a fantastic view of a horse farm. The home is so perfectly appointed with horse country décor and is so unique with one-of-a-kind furnishings including the magnificent bedroom on the upper level that gives you your own private balcony to look out over the pastures of the horse farm. The owners are very generous with their amenities and provide many items to use with their high end appliances. There were many special touches including a magnificent bed with SOFT linens and a heated bathroom floor! The upstairs also had it's own bar and refrigerator (and a snack basket) but there is only one TV in the upstairs. You can turn the TV to face the couch and ottoman in the suite which was important to us as we are avid football fans. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. We had so much fun during our stay that we will definitely return and hope to book this property again.

Awesome Inn
What a wonderful property!! My son and I came to Lexington for opening weekend at Keeneland and had an absolute blast! The Inn was perfect in all ways. Very comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely be back!
