Con su proximidad a Blowing Rock, esta acogedora cabaña de dos habitaciones es perfecta para los guerreros de fin de semana que visitan el área y que podrían estar buscando su próxima aventura al aire libre. Ofrecemos dos dormitorios y un baño completo y medio baño (planta principal).

Ubicada junto a la autopista 321, la casa cuenta con una cómoda sala de estar, centrada alrededor de una chimenea de leña (de temporada). Hay un reproductor de DVD si desea traer sus películas de DVD favoritas.

Amplias opciones gastronómicas con mesas para 4 y una barra de vista para 3. La cocina completa incluye estufa eléctrica, microondas, refrigerador y cafetera normal (NO lavaplatos).

Fuera del comedor se encuentra el área de la terraza donde puede tumbarse en una silla y relajarse con un vaso de limonada y un buen libro.

En la planta baja se encuentra el área de descanso con dos dormitorios y baño de salón. La habitación de invitados incluye una cama Queen y una cama doble, TV de pantalla plana y una lavadora / secadora apiladas en el armario de la habitación de invitados. El dormitorio principal cuenta con una cama King, TV de pantalla plana grande, ventilador de techo y acceso a la cubierta inferior que conduce a la fogata al aire libre. Aire acondicionado central.

Enjoyed the back deck
Should have added Saturday to the stay. Stayed in Boone Saturday night - on Sunday we discovered how close Blowing Rock and the cabin was to Boone. Did not stop at amusement part - all we were interested in was a train ride. Unable to get wi-Fi or satellite TV at the cabin. Did not bother the property manager. We played chess and read books.

A Pleasant Just-Right Getaway
Blowing Rock Skies is exactly as described. We found it at all times to be a cozy and pleasing place to relax in. We were three of us: a father (me), his sailor son, and his shipmate. We stayed for the Thanksgiving weekend as the two of them couldn't make it home for the holiday. We each had a bed, which made it nice. With one and a half bathrooms it was an easy fit. The Great room is quite large with lots of couch/chair space. The deck is huge as well. Its view reminded you constantly that you were in the mountains. The whole place had a nice cabin vibe overall. Thankfully, the weather was dry while we were there as I can see that the narrow cliff-edge road to the cabin would be dicey if icy conditions were occurring. I can imagine that the parking would be tight for two vehicles, but we had only one so not a problem. The only negative for me was that there was no dishwasher. Still, I would heartily recommend this cabin for an enjoyable near-by stay for Blowing Rock and Boone. And kudos to those in charge of cleaning. It was very clean upon our arrival.

Review of Blowing Rock Skies
We enjoyed our view at the cabin. It is well furnished and attractive. The road in to the cabin off 321N is a narrow gravel one-lane path down the side of the mountain. I would not feel comfortable driving it at night or in the rain. There are no guard rails. Parking is hard because of the narrow spaces with no room for a turn around. The bedrooms downstairs are very pretty but they had a musty smell. We didn't turn on the dehumidifier because we didn't know the condition of the filter. The towels smelled musty too. Anyone with allergies would not do well there. My daughter developed a sore throat but it went away after she got back home. The cabin is very quiet. We only heard distant traffic and acorns falling on the deck. Ease of check in and check out was great. Overall nice stay but the lower level would cause us not to return.

Great location, responsive host, great cell signal, wish we could have streamed Netflix Xplorie – great add-on but didn’t get to take advantage of it because of the weather Stairwell is dark – make sure to turn light on before heading down! Water gets extremely hot – beware!

Beautiful views, great space
Property manager gave excellent directions and check in procedures. We arrived after dark and that was a little hard as the cabin is on a steep, narrow road but I am familiar with the area so wasn’t too surprised. If first time in area: arrive during daylight! Definitely need AWD or 4 wheel drive. Cabin was comfortable and perfect for me and three teens visiting ASU. The view is stunning. Wifi did not work at all. Network not even available but we had cell service. Towels that the management company most likely provides need an upgrade- quality is like from a Motel 8- small and scratchy. Even the boys complained and that is saying something! Kitchen well equipped except could use a larger skillet- Overall , it was lovely and I would return for sure but with my own towels! Nothing like a weekend in Blowing Rock. It is beautiful any time of year.

40th birthday shenanigan's
It was the perfect location and an amazing view! :) We had the best time. The manager was on the ball with getting our information to us and even sent things to do and coupons. The beds were a little to firm for my liking and there was a couple spider crickets but other than that, it was a great trip filled with great memories and lots of laughter! We will definitely stay here again.

Loved this cabin! Great location and easy drive to both Blowing Rock and Boone. Strongly suggest an SUV and 4WD as a smaller car might be questionable during snow conditions.

90 % of screens broken. Had to fix two just to get air in house. Wi Fi needed to be reset several times a day. Pots and pans need help. No shelves or racks in bathrooms. Upstairs not too bad but house needs some re-doing and updating.

Lovely place
The road to get in the property is a little scary but overall we loved it. Grandfather mountains and other great locations were so close to the house. The house looks old outside but it was so nice and cozy on the inside also they have everything you need in the kitchen. We had a small inconvenience to get in the house but Stacey answered his phone and was there to help out. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to go back!
