We loved the nearly 180 degree view of the bay (blue water, blue sky), and having access to the water via the dock and provided paddle boards. Having the two cabins worked great for our family (plus two dogs), especially because of the shared stone patio in between them for coming together, eating at the big table, and sitting around the fire. The hot tub and view from the hot tub were especially enjoyed. From the outside, the cabins look like typical classic rustic north woods cabins. Inside, they're up to date and extremely clean and pleasant. Bright and welcoming. From time to time there are random passing cars on the road in front of the cabins (35 mph limit), and, on one day of our visit, after the wind direction changed overnight, a bit of sound could be heard from the two-lane highway far in the distance to the west, but neither was a problem and are mentioned only to say that the cabins aren't deep in the wilderness. In fact, the location was a positive for its relative closeness to the town of Suttons Bay, its restaurants, and places like the Leo Creek Preserve, which we discovered by accident and liked a lot. We'd stay in the cabins again for sure.
