The house was... fine, overall, for a bunch of guys just looking to hangout for the weekend. The house itself is (or was once) very nice, but clearly isn't kept up to date on maintenance / repairs, so don't expect everything to be in perfect condition. The grill on the property was completely rusted out, so we used our own small charcoal set-up that we brought. The pool was in pretty good shape, just somewhat difficult to keep clean with all the trees around, and there were tons of bugs / bees outside (we later found a couple bees nests up under the roof which explains that). The linens / bathrooms all seemed clean enough which was nice. Floors clearly weren't clean, as we noticed our bare feet were all nearly black on the bottom after walking around inside barefoot. There's a bunk room with 4 bunks that serves as a place to sleep for 4, which is fine - but it's a very small room that has a fully glass wall to the hallway, so don't expect any privacy there. Lastly, it's very much on a working farm - you are surrounded by pastures, and there are cars / people / horses coming up and down the long driveway that is right next to the house all day and into the night. Overall we found our stay better than the initial review, which we were relieved by - just don't expect a 5 star experience.
