Everything and More!
Our stay at this property is always amazing. We have been there three times total to the condos and this was our second stay in this particular unit. Cheri is so attentive and professional in her communication. You can tell she takes pride in what she does as well as how she cares for the property. There are no details that have not been addressed there. There is more than enough supplies like kitchenware, utensils, pots and pans and condiments, as well as plenty of linens, towels, and toiletries for bathroom and bedrooms. The patio is probably one of the largest balconies on site. There are two areas to it so there is plenty of space. This outdoor space has a TV and we spent a lot of time out there hanging out playing board games and watching movies. The property has a fitness center as well as a swimming pool, hot tub and the grounds are just amazing to walk around and they have courts for Pickleball and tennis and disc golf is avail as well. I’m leaving so much out because the review is getting long, but I hope if you’re reading this, you will not wait any longer. Just go ahead and book and see for yourself. Everytime I’m there my stay gets longer because I LOVE IT. (3 days once, then 4 and this one was almost a week) Seeing all the deer and the natural beauty of the lake as well as taking walks just outside of the property and meeting some of the local neighbors are all added benefits. Several local restaurants are around as well…a 15-20 minute drive will get you there.

Nice stay, good property
We had a lovely weekend on Lake Travis. The host was helpful and communicative. The property itself was good but not great. Pros: • The location of the property overlooking the lake is incredible, and the view is amazing. • The apartment was well supplied with things like coffee, dish soap, etc. • The host warned us to be careful of deer when driving to the complex. And she was not kidding. There were hundreds of them! We love seeing wildlife and did not mind driving extra slow. It was so cool to see that many deer on and around the property. Cons: • Most thing about the apartment seem a bit dated. There’s nothing terribly wrong. It just has the feel of a place that’s 20 - 30 years old and in need of some renovation. • The complex could use a store on site to buy simple things like milk, bread, cereal, etc. It’s a bit of a hike to get to the grocery store. Overall nice stay — good but not great.

Great weekend getaway!
The villa was great, very clean with everything you could need. The property itself was a little dirty but overall a really great place. The view from the restaurant and pool were amazing! Very communicative and kind host. Would definitely stay here again!

Last week before school
The location was ideal for us… tucked away in the Texas Hill Country and overlooking Lake Travis. Had a great time enjoying the pools and relaxing in the condo. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! The condo was exquisitely prepared and was just right for a family of 3. Summer memories made!!

Perfect 20th Anniversary Here!
My husband and I shared our 20th anniversary here (along with our 14 yo daughter) and had such a great time. This condo had everything you could want! This host really took the time to think of everything you might need for a nice stay. It was extremely clean, comfortable, spacious, and the condo felt luxurious, with granite countertops and very nice glasses, pots and pans, supplies, games, books, etc. The oversized balcony was great in the mornings, as you can sit out and watch the deer below your balcony or the many birds singing in the trees as the sun rises. Head out to the two outdoor pools and two outdoor hot tubs. When we were here, there weren't a lot of guests in the resort, so we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time. The view of the river is gorgeous! You can walk the length of the property all riverside, and you can even walk down a path all the way down to the river (this is likely the path that they take you down to put paddleboards in the water)- we watched the sunset as the water came up to our feet. The deer were adorable! We saw dozens of deer right on the property and in the surrounding neighborhoods. We even fed them carrots and they were gentle. There is a little shop and a restaurant on site. They offered bingo- first three cards for free- and then there was karaoke the next night. Cheri was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Cheri for making our anniversary perfect!

April 2024 Eclipse Trip
My husband and I had a great staying at this condo on Lake Travis. The condo was clean, attractive, and well-stocked. The host even left us eclipse glasses and phone filters to use for the big event! The grounds of the condo community were also really beautiful. When the host warns you to keep an eye out for deer, they aren’t kidding! Deer were EVERYWHERE in this area and they have no fear of humans. They regularly congregated in the condo’s grassy common areas in the evening. Drive very slowly and keep your eyes peeled. The walls between the condos are a bit thin, (this was most noticeable in the morning for some reason), so definitely be mindful of your neighbors! I would definitely book this condo again on my next trip to the area.

Great Experience
The Island at Lago Vista is a wonderful community and it is a beautiful, well-run property. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and the tennis/pickle ball courts. Counting the deer each time we went to and from the propertv was enjoyable for my kids and I. The highest count was 40. The unit we stayed in was very clean and had all the comforts of home. If we come back to Austin we would definitely stay there again.

Enchanted
The home is a sanctuary of tranquility, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Waking up to the sight of deer gracefully roaming amidst such natural beauty was truly enchanting. I recommend you take some deer feed if you would like to spend some time with the deer and the outdoors. They are very friendly. The check in process and communication with the property manager was excellent. Cheri is very kind and responds promptly. The home is very clean and organized. It’s a memory we’ll treasure forever. Looking forward to the next opportunity to visit!
