The Bunkhouse Lodge es un refugio de lujo para parejas y familias por igual. ¡Con su mezcla ecléctica de todas las cosas 'vaquero', este albergue es como ningún otro alojamiento en Medicine Park! Desde la amplia terraza envolvente se puede ver el monte. Scott se levanta a casi 2,500 pies del suelo de la pradera. El viaje a la cima de esta pieza de granito es una de las mejores vistas panorámicas de todo Oklahoma.

Detrás del monte. Scott, encontrarás la primera reserva de vida silvestre de los Estados Unidos llamada el Refugio de Vida Silvestre Wichita Mountain. Bicicletas, kayaks, motocicletas y caminatas esperan su descubrimiento en sesenta y cuatro mil acres. Seguro que quedará impresionado con las vistas panorámicas y los sitios históricos. Hay formaciones rocosas más grandes que una pequeña ciudad en este lugar. Puede comenzar el día con una caña de pescar y un bajo de boca grande, caminar hasta un puente natural al mediodía y terminar el día con un filete en el restaurante Old Plantation en Medicine Park. Si le gustan los deportes acuáticos, tenemos el famoso fondo de granito, el agua azul del lago Lawtonka, justo al pie de las montañas. El Bunkhouse estaba ubicado en una carretera sin nombre, pero ya no. Ahora se encuentra en 'Bunkhouse Road' con un letrero oficial del condado de Comanche como verificación. Justo detrás de nosotros hay tres caballos Gypsy Vanner de ojos azules que lo hacen suyo en dos pastos adyacentes del Windsong Ranch y directamente detrás de ellos hay una manada de alpacas.

Great Thanksgiving stay
This is a great home. We stayed for Thanksgiving to visit our son at Fort Sill. The home was very comfortable, well appointed for Thanksgiving, and well described by the owner. Having the horses next door was a huge bonus! We’ll be back.

Charming Home Near Medicine Park
Really enjoyed our stay at The Bunkhouse! We were in town for our son’s graduation from Basic Training. The house was great for Family Day when we were able to bring him back with us for Family Day. Comfortable spaces inside and out. It was nice to be out in a country setting sitting out on the wrap around porch with nice views. Only about 10 minutes from Fort Sill. All worked out great! We’d stay there again!

Family visit
We were three generations in the area visiting family. The Bunkhouse was right in the middle and where we wanted to be. LOVED the location. Quiet, except when artillery practice was happening…not long at all. Views were amazing and yellow flowers in bloom. My 15 year old was ready to move in! Brennan responded quickly to any communications. Overall, we would stay again!

Beautiful, peaceful property!
The Bunkhouse was easy to find, and everything was clean, well stocked and easy to use. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch with our coffee in the morning and in the evening watching the kids chasing fireflies. There is lots of space indoors, tv had everything that we looked for. The management was really quick answering all of my questions. The only negative was that our stay was so short. Our adult children have texted us to say they wish they were still there, and the grandkids (9-11) had a ball. The beds were comfy, air conditioner ran very well, and the WiFi never caused a problem. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Our recent stay at the Bunckhouse was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by our host. The Bunckhouse itself was charming and cozy, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for our family getaway, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. We enjoyed spending time exploring the area during the day and returning to the Bunckhouse in the evenings to relax by the firepit. Great place
We love the bunkhouse! Our group had another great visit there. The only thing we have trouble with at this house is comfortable seating. We did enjoy the new recliner but wish the chairs around the table were more comfortable. We spend a lot of time around the table playing games and visiting. They also wanted me to let the owner know the couch has seen better days. But we absolutely LOVE the porch and Yard. The view is incredible! Thanks for another great time!

"Bunkhouse" Vacay Memories
Our little family loved "The Bunkhouse." It was in a beautiful location outside of Medicine Park. With beautiful mountain views of the Wichita mountains we had quick access to all of the adventures of Medicine Park. The cabin was nice and clean decorated in a western bunkhouse decor. We enjoyed the wildlife refuge, the aquarium, downtown Medicine Park and the kids loved swimming in Lake Lawtonka. We also enjoyed the beautiful wrap around porch late in the evenings. Great place to stay for awesome family time and we will definitely b back. Thank you so much for sharing "The Bunkhouse" with our family. Loved every minute of our short weekend visit.

Oklahoma Oasis!
While decidedly out of town, this property was just minutes away from everything! We truly enjoyed our evenings on the wrap-around porch, cooking in the spacious kitchen, and the beautiful views that surrounded us and nature that greeted us. We were delighted to have access to the washer and dryer; arriving home without suitcases full of laundry was a DREAM! The host was incredibly responsive to our questions and (minor) concerns. The beds were quite comfortable and the location quiet. Must see things nearby: hiking trails around Lake Lawtonka, historic Medicine Park, and the Comanchee Cultural Center. Lake Lawtonka's public beach access is quite rocky and we recommend water shoes.

This property was perfect for Family Day with my soldier. Less than 10 minutes from base and easy drive. The property was very clean, cozy and felt like home. We were able to spend the full day with our soldier in a very comfortable setting and cook his requested meals. This was SO much better then hanging out in a hotel room for the day. Love love love!
