“We stayed here for a bachelor trip and it was amazing. The stay was very relaxing and peaceful. We spent the days fishing and hanging out by the lake while watching all the wildlife. We caught enough fish to make everyone happy. The cabin is very secluded but also close enough to the ozarks that we were able to go golfing and have a night out. Everything about this place was better than advertised and the steaks were amazing. We will definitely be back!!”

Could benefit with a small book of instructions (for TV / water heater warm-up) & info for the immediate surrounding area. “The area is beautiful. Couldn’t get the heater to work properly. So it was a bit chilly. My husband did want to watch a little t.v. but the sound kept messing up. The screen door was broken and my husband was very concerned about the tape around all the outlets. He didn’t feel it was safe so we didn’t stay a second night. However, if you can get passed all that, it has a nice deck, the lake is just a few feet away and it’s just very pretty and peaceful.”

“Everything was as described in the listing: two bedrooms, one bath, very spacious living space and spotless! Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Location was close enough to many things but not too close. The neighborhood was quiet. Easy check in and check out! The hosts are great, even making a safety call to notify us of a tornado warning and inviting us to use their basement, if desired. We highly recommend staying in this cottage! Perfect for two couples!”

“This is a great property. It had everything we were looking for - nice, clean, and with great amenities. We hiked the creek and spent time on the dock swimming and using the kayak. The secluded location was good for us, so the kids could be in the water without worrying about boater traffic. We only saw a couple jetskis and boats across the lake from us so the kids could be out in the kayak. We will definitely book it the next time we are in Lake of the Ozarks!”
