“We actually loved the cabin itself, and the creek flowing in the back, and the backyard was phenomenal. Communication with the owner was very good. We had one or two difficult issues, which were solved after we left. The biggest issue was that it was very far out, 35 minutes minimum to Boone, and whenever a car or truck drove by the dust if it had not rained or was pretty bad. But we love the property, and our two labradors loved the creek! Overall, it was a lovely stay.”

“The home is beautiful! The creek was absolutely amazing! Water rafts available to float down the river and explore. Plenty of lawn chairs provided! Check in was a breeze. Essentials available in kitchen. Bring your own bottled water to drink, cook with, use for ice and coffee. The water is safe but has a well water smell. Susan, the property manager, is SO fun! “Nice getaway for a couple. We needed peace and quiet and thats what we got. Cell service is terrible. It has wifi but most of the weekend it was out.
