“Great location with lovely pastoral views.”

“Great little setup. Loved having a glass of wine around the firepit. Two young foals and their mums provided lots of entertainment right at the front door. Gorgeous. Rooster lost track of time one night unfortunately, and was very vocal. Lots of things to see and do around the area.”

“We only stayed one night, the house was clean, warm and had everything you could need. The hosts were lovely and quick to respond. The location was so great for families, backing onto a playground and lake. We would definitely visit again! ”

“This is a beautiful house that has been decorated to perfection and includes so many thoughtful touches for a carefree stay. It's close to everything in town but very peaceful, and an easy drive to local attractions. Louise is a caring and friendly host who made sure we had everything we needed. Best of all, the house is completely dog friendly with a safely enclosed yard.”

“Borough Cottage is an exceptionally comfortable family home. We loved everything about it including the very generous breakfast hamper, the comfy couches and cosy warm bed. Sitting on the verandah enjoying breakfast and watching the resident Eastern spinebill family was a highlight for us birdwatchers. Highly recommended.”

“Let me just say the hosts are amazing! So friendly and very very welcoming. We had a little incident with our car and they were there to help us and make sure we’re okay! Now the stay was so cosy and lovely we really enjoyed our stay and the area is perfect for a relaxing break! Thank you to the beautiful hosts for welcoming us and for providing such a great experience! We will definitely return!”

“Overall the Cockatoo Rainforest Escape cottage was exactly as described and has everything you need for a cosy stay. The weather was particularly cold and wet and cottage heated up really well and we enjoyed the wood fire. It's an easy walk into Cockatoo and a great location to access Emerald, Puffing Billy etc. The only reason the star rating I give is lower is that we struggled with the beds – finding most of the mattresses rather firm, 'springy' and uncomfortable and hence not great sleep -...
