Great hotel, terrible experience with the booking. Once we got to the hotel and tried to check in, the lady at the front desk told me the "reservation had been cancelled by the host", even though there was no communication about this, and the booking had already been fully paid months ago. I contacted the host via chat, and the response I got after waiting 15 minutes was "try again". No explanation as to what happened, no apologies. This time the front desk confirmed the reservation, but told me there was an additional "resort fee" that was not mentioned ANYWHERE in the booking or on the original receipt. Again, contacted the host about this, and this time there was no reply at all. To make things worse, once we got to the room, we discovered it only had 1 bed and 1 sofa bed (the listing clearly said 2 beds and 1 sofa bed). The host's reply this time? "your booking was for 1 bed and 1 sofa bed". When I provided screenshots of the original listing confirming the 2 beds, all I got was silence. I had to go downstairs to the front desk again to get this straightened out, and luckily they were able to reaccommodate us, but as far as the extra resort fee, I had to fight that through my credit card, because there was simply no response from the host about this. Never again!
