Very Disappointed
Booked for Thanksgiving. Home slept 16 we had 9. Size and location were good. At check-in, one of the smoke/CO2 detectors was chirping due to a low battery, the property manager heard the alert and said that maintenance would be immediately notified. The chirping continued through the night until we found a ladder to disconnect. Management never followed up or addressed the issue. I paid 210 to heat the tub for the week. The heat was on 2 days after checkin. After repeatedly asking for operating instructions I was notified 6 days after checkin that the hot tub blower was inoperative. I requested a refund which was denied by the owner. The home is very “tired”. Several glass door panels were missing in the kitchen, the gas stove top ignitor was intermittent, many window blinds were broken. The kitchen was not equipped with enough plates, silverware or glasses for the number of people the house sleeps. The dishwasher had to be run multiple times a day, due to the lack of kitchen supplies. Some of the issues; only one bath towel per person, no dish towels, no casserole/baking dishes, the dining room sat 8. The lack of essentials to match the number of people the house sleeps is not acceptable. Although the management responded to my text messages, they failed to address the issue concerning the smoke/CO2 detectors and the hot tub. Lastly, the owner’s refusal to reimburse me for the money I spent to heat a hot tub that did not work is inexcusable.
