Great stay at Villa Mara
Excellent villa in a great location. Easily walkable to several restaurants and great beaches. There is a small supermarket over the road too. The villa is comfortable, well equipped and has a lovely pool which gets the afternoon sun.

Ok but disappointing.
Arrival and check in were fine, we were rather surprised to find the front of the house being totally overlooked by the rear of a hotel. We found hair on the floor of both bathrooms, and discarded tissue on the floor of the master. Outside was the biggest let down, the pool was totally shaded, and the sun only reached the sun beds between 2-4pm ( very disappointed ) The barbecue cover was torn and tatty. The air conditioning units for the hotel opposite all kick into life at 06.30am sharp, and constant noise from trucks delivering and collecting from the hotel at all times of day and evening. The housing estate is small and secluded, but the houses turn over regularly, and we had issues with 3 separate properties and loud parties during our stay. The property management company that are paid to look after the Villa made no contact with us during our 10 day stay, and no linen or towels were changed at any point. When we departed, we stripped the main bed, and found the mattress protector to be very stained and rather unpleasant, this is a simple check that the cleaners should be undertaking on each clean, and it’s easy to wash / exchange the mattress protector. The interior was fine, lounge area was spacious, however the kitchen is very tired and rather tatty, and very limited preparation area. The hoover supplied has no attachments, and smelt really awful when we switched it on ( only briefly ) The ironing board cover is torn and damaged, and is not useable.

Beautiful villa
First time staying in a villa and more so, first time booking flights, accommodation and transfers individually. As such, we were understandably nervous. With regards to the accommodation part, we could not have been more delighted. Firstly, the hosts. Extremely communicative with a fantastically detailed, descriptive and comprehensive welcome pack, sent before travel. This was a really useful list of dos, don’ts and recommendations from transfers to beaches, restaurants and places to visit. In relation to the villa itself…..WOW. It’s beautiful. An excellent sized, open plan living and kitchen area. Six seater dining table, large sofa, more entertainment devices than you will need, an entire home from home cooking facility and all tastefully decorated. A very handy downstairs toilet and combined shower room is also very handy. Upstairs, three double bedrooms with one double bed and two rooms with two single beds per room. Ample storage space in all three rooms and plenty of hangers. Three hairdryers are available, one in each room. Spacious main bathroom with bath and shower. It’s not until you go outside that you appreciate the pool area. Another 6 seater dining table, small patio set and six quality sun loungers. The pool itself is an absolute bonus to have along with the poolside shower. There also a few pool games to entertain you outside. A brilliant holiday and highly recommended.

Perfect accommodation, perfect location
This is our second stay at this house, the location is ideal, walking distance to konnos bay and mikes sports , walking distance to snorkel at an original roman harbour , also can walk to mimosa beach and a couple of lovely restaurants, especially konnos grill opposite the road who serves homemade Greek dishes, absolutely delicious. Short car drive to protaras or Ayia naps and is particularly recommend watching the sunset at cape greko. The villa /house has everything you need, it’s perfect… and I’m sad the two weeks are over already ! My husband and I took my daughter 17, son 20 and her girlfriend, we all saw turtles whilst snorkelling at Green Bay and konnos bay, so be sure to take snorkal masks and an under water case for your phone as we got amazing footage

Gute Unterkunft
Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben. Die Beheizung des Pools ist gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr möglich. Die Räume sind ausreichend groß. Die Unterkunft kann mit mind. 4 Erwachsenen belegt werden, da 2 Bäder zur Verfügung stehen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, sodass es an nichts fehlt. Die Küchenschränke haben schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Rücken, sodass diese mal ausgetauscht werden sollten. Die Elektrogeräte sind hingegen einwandfrei. In einigen umliegenden Ferienhäusern wird momentan renoviert. Hierdurch kam es gelegentlich zu Lärm. Das vor dem Haus befindliche Hotel bietet abends gelegentlich Musikveranstaltungen. Die Musik ist dann auch im Haus zu hören. Haben wir jedoch nicht als negativ befunden. Die Einfahrt zum Wirtschaftshof des Hotels befindet sich in hörbarer Entfernung. Hier ist der Piepton der rückwärts fahrenden LKWs gelegentlich zu hören. Was uns aber auch nicht weiter gestört hat. Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft gut empfehlt.

Great hoilday
We had a lovely stay at the villa, everything was as it said. The heated pool was great, kids loved being in there even in the rain. BBQ was great. Adrain was very quick in responding. We went to most recommended places which were all great. The Japanese restaurant in Ayia Napa where they cook infront of you called Hokkaido was amazing, great experience for adults and children. Drinks at Grecian parks cliff top bar was lovely and reasonably priced drinks. The restaurants to walk to were good as well. Buses and taxi were easy. Airport transfers all good. Boat trip we were lucky to see turtles. Great location if you dont mind walking or using transport.

Villa Mara stay
The Villa is well maintained with everything you need for a self catered stay. Really well situated with several local restaurants within walking distance but away from some of the noisier sections of the coast. Pool is lovely and clean and the outside space is great, particularly with the gas BBQ which is so efficient for cooking. Loads of helpful information was provided before our stay and the check in process worked well. Thanks for our stay Adrian.

Perfect location and villa
Villa Mara was a perfect base for us - 10mins walk to the nearest beach (at Mimosa Hotel), and a couple of minutes walk to the bus stops for Protarus and Ayia Napa if we didn't want to drive. (Get a weekly bus card from the driver to save money.) The communication before and during the trip was fantastic (Adrian was so quick to respond) and the Villa was very clean and had everything we could want for our month long stay. We didn't use the barbeque or Xbox so can't comment on them We would definitely book to stay here again and really didn't want to come home

Wonderful holiday and excellent property
Villa Mara was for us a beautiful experience. The house is beautiful and well equipped with all comforts - this made the stay very pleasant, despite the presence of a toddler (had to be extra careful to her access to the pool, meaning we had to lock doors when adults not around outside). The facilities in the house were as described in the very detailed instructions and the friendly and prompt conversations (verbal and via messages) with the owner. We were impressed at the efficiency of the responses to our queries (both before arriving and whilst on site) and the tips shared by the owner. It is a quiet location, pool area not overlooked, well furnished and excellent kitchen facilities. If there is one drawback this is the distance from shops (mainly reasonably cheaper supermarkets), as without private transport it could be tricky self catering. We ended up hiring a 'buggy' which did the job (and was fun too). However for moving about without carrying heavy shopping, the bus connectivity is excellent. Nearby beach is great, though walking in the heat of summer could prove slightly challenging. We had a fantastic time and are grateful to our hosts. Highly recommended! Thank you Adrian!

Wonderfull stay
We were really impressed by Villa Mara. It was clean and well equipped. We choose to use heated pool which we did not regret. Location of the villa is great and it is located in the end of the road in a quiet neighborhood. Our host A. J. was very helpful, we got fast response to our questions, and got very great service. We will definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay.

Very nice house located within walking distance to several beaches. Visiting off season some of the restaurants and shops were closed, but we found enough that were open. Choosing to have the pool heated were a winning move - well worth the money as the kids been swimming so much, also in the evenings when the air was cooler. Adrian has been very helpful and engaged, really wanting us to have a nice stay at his house - which we had!

Lovely property close to Grecian Park & Protaras
We stayed at Villa Mara as we were attending a wedding at Grecian Park nearby. Very convenient location. The house was so well appointed it was like a home from home. Excellent communication by the owner, with a handy welcome pack. Follow the instructions for the aircon - it’s very powerful!

Beautiful Villa with all the comforts of home
We had an amazing time renting this villa. It is very spacious, updated and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation. It is a short walk to some beautiful beaches and a quick drive to the strip of Protaras without the noise and hassle. The owners provided an exceptional packet with all detailed information that was so incredibly useful. Will stay here again if we come back to Cyprus.

Absolutely fantastic, would highly recommend
Great communication before the stay, very informative welcome pack that we downloaded and took with us. The villa is in a perfect location for us, close to local shops and the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus. We hired a car but also some Quads to take around the sea caves and cape Greco. We jumped off cliffs, watched the sunset, hired many water sports activities from Mikes water sports at Konnos bay. We took our snorkel masks and spent many a time at the bay near to the villa and at the sea caves. The water is crystal clear and warm and We spotted so many different variety’s of fish and scary sea urchins !! The sea is very safe, we also swam from the bay near to the villa to Mimosa beach, we saw a turtle coming in to feed !! We had a lovely lunch and a swim at mimosa hotel and was made to feel very welcome. The villa is so well equipped, it has everything you need for a family or adults. Our teenage son made use of the Xbox in the aircon during a warm evening, the girls played in the pool as did we. The pool always has an area with shade if you need it. The beautiful palm trees surrounding the pool makes for a very relaxed environment. The bbq was the best we’ve ever used and the beds were so comfortable, the kitchen area and fridge freezer just perfect, the outside table was well used for eating and playing cards with the family. The locals are extremely friendly too. We have used Vrbo/home and away for years since the kids were tiny and have always had wonderful experiences but this has to be up there with the best. Sehr schönes Haus mit viel Platz
Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Unterkunft sehr genossen! Die Gegend ist schön ruhig (auch wenn in dem Hotel nebenan abends öfter noch laute Musik lief), die Fortbewegung mit den öffentlichen Bussen hat super geklappt und die Strände in der Gegend sind sehr schön! Auch sehr gut geeignet für einen Urlaub mit kleinem Kind. Die Kommunikation mit Adrian war zudem sowohl im Vorfeld als auch während des Urlaubs top, er hat uns alle Fragen immer sehr schnell und genau beantwortet, vielen Dank! Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen und komme gerne noch mal wieder. :)
