The house was great, and super clean. I would have given it 5 stars except for the poor host support when we had a problem. We booked the house for 4 nights. On the second night, around 9:00 PM, the AC unit in one of the bedrooms began making a strange noise. The noise continued even after we turned off the unit and persisted for 20-30 minutes after shut off. I have such heat pump units in my home, and I could not account for the noise. And it was too loud to allow for sleep. I called the Vacasa support line around 9:30 PM. The support person marked the problem as urgent and promised to call me back with an update as he tried to arrange service. That was the last I heard from Vacasa support. I didn’t expect service that night, but I did expect an update by phone and a service call the next day, which was a Friday. But nothing. I’ve still heard nothing. The noise started each time the unit was turned on, and persisted for a time after the unit was turned off. So, no AC in that room for 3 nights, in July.
