Wedding Party
We stayed to be close to my stepson who was getting married at a nearby property. The location was perfect - so peaceful and beautiful! The house itself was so lovely and so big I got lost a time or two! We would definitely stay again and there is enough room for the whole family! Communication with property management was stellar- any questions or comments were responded to immediately!

House at Rumbling Bald-Lake Lure
The property has plenty of space for our group and mostly clean. All cookware was provided, and the washer/dryer were great to have access to. The creek behind the house was an endless source of entertainment for our grandkids. The downstairs shower was not working (we were told the day before that this was an issue which was fine but being honest with amenities) as there were other showers. There were tons of cobwebs in corners of rooms and windows. The gas grill was falling apart (on July 4th we expected to cook burgers/hotdogs) Our main issue was with access to the resort. We were supposed to be provided enough guest passes for our party but were only given three. When we tried to use them, they were not valid. We stopped at guest services and were told that the property should not have given them to us and they confiscated them. The whole point of us staying here was to have resort access for the entirety of our stay. Luckily our grandkids were super flexible and were happy to just go the beach and play in the creek behind the house. If you are considering this property be sure to get it in writing that resort access will be available and any limits. We were told we would have access for our stay. For the 4 days we were there we only had access one day (on the 4th as we needed wristbands which were provided....totally weird! I believe this was a resort issue.) Rumbling Bald staff were extremely rude to my kids. $4000 for this stay was absurd.

Disappointed
The property did not live up to what advertised. Problems were not addressed after rental agency made aware. Carpet dirty, 4 old broken appliances still on property, icemaker broken, roaches on ground floor, mice droppings in hall, some furniture soiled, washing machine broken and they promised one delivered. Never showed up! We would not go back to same property!!

No one wanted to leave!
The surroundings and the sound of creek are amazing!! The landscaping and seating areas help you settle right in and relax. Our group (2 families with kids) all had a great time. Plenty of room to spread out, land to explore, amenities to entertain. We can’t wait to come back.

Great Cabin for Multiple Families/Couples
We enjoyed our stay at this riverside cabin. Inside the home was clean and well-appointed. Because we came with a few different family units, we appreciated the many different bedroom options. The number of decks and porches on the property was amazing with the views! The hot tub was also appreciated and used daily. The resort amenities were nice to have so close by. My brother and brother-in-law enjoyed the golf courses. The river along the property made everything feel so peaceful. The hosts were quick to respond to any inquiry made. We would definitely return to this cabin!

Lovely home, amazing location, excellent hosts!
My wife, young daughter, and I had a wonderful time with our close friends and their children. The house is amazing, so many rooms and so much character! The property is huge and provides plenty of room and outside exploring time. The community was fantastic with mini golf, restaurants, and golf nearby. Bald Mountain golf course was a beautiful mountain course. To top it all off, our hosts were very helpful! Before our trip I inquired about golf cart rentals in the area. My brief search online didn't yield any results nearby but they were able to put us in touch with a company. To summarize- we highly recommend this house, the location, an its hosts. We hope to return again soon!
