Great stay
Excellent secluded and quiet cabin. Extremely clean and comfortable. If you are looking to get off the grid and relax, this is the place. Jim was easy to work with. Highly recommend.

This place is beautiful
Beautiful cabin in the woods. Owner was very responsive and kind with great local tips. Very clean and new, private location with no neighbors. Best part being in copper country there's adventure in every direction.

Great Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was secluded and quiet; a great way to disconnect and rest (limited cell service on the peninsula and no wifi helped us slow down a bit). The cabin was a little difficult to find, but the owner provided great directions ahead of time that GPS didn't cover. All in all, it was a great time away.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this quiet little cabin in the woods. Very peaceful and clean. Owner Jimmy was easy to contact and did a great job communicating anything we needed.

Perfect Hideway / Getaway
The property was everything we wished for, secluded, quiet, flora and fauna right off the front porch. The property owner was more than gracious, making sure we could find this remote spot as well as where to buy groceries etc. We had a few day trips exploring the quaint little towns along Lake Superior's shores. The UP was exactly like I remember it from childhood.

just like home
Jim's cabin was very comfortable and nestled in the woods. very clean and all the amenities we needed. We had a great time exploring the upper area of Kewanaw peninsula. Lots of waterfalls and great rock hounding. Beautiful area.

Relaxing Getaway
We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the woods. It was very clean, secluded and lovely. Jimmy was a great host! I would recommend it to anyone that likes to get away and enjoy the outdoors. We relaxed by the fire pit in the evenings, watched deer come in on many occasions and there are also lots of places to enjoy day trips to Lake Superior and the surrounding area. This cabin is truly a 5 out of 5!!!

Was a great cabin to stay in. The owner was always available and was able to answer any questions.
Great property with a bunch of forest for privacy. Has a grill and a campfire if you are into that stuff. Also has a kayaks to take out to the lake. Would definitely rent again.

Charming, roomy, cabin in the woods
The property was very clean in a beautiful forest location with walking trails in a couple directions. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of outdoor activities close by. Spent most of our time outside on the spacious front porch. Would have appreciated different mattress cover and sheets that did not shift while sleeping. If they replaced the mattress covers and put sheets on the double bed that fit, I would have rated this 5 stars. But there is nothing like a good night sleep.

This property is just what we wanted. Secluded, refreshing and homey. We will definitely return. We saw deer, ate blueberries, had fire and once we figured it out has just enough cell service to get a few messages out. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your cabin

Quiet, Serene Get-Away
My husband and I stayed in this beautiful cabin for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint. The owner, Jimmy was fabulous throughout our whole stay. Not only is the cabin itself amazing, the owner made the check in/out process smooth and easy. His communication was great. Jimmy was very friendly, suggesting to us attractions in the area as well as good places to eat. He really made us feel welcome and right at home. The beds are comfy and the cabin is very clean. We will be back, we LOVE the UP!

Great location and nice and quiet
It was great. Beautiful shaded lot, really quiet and dark at night. Lots of interesting birds as well and the location made it easy to get around. House was very clean and well cared for and the welcome cookies were a nice touch. There are also plenty of supplies and toiletries if needed. Would stay here again.

Great little hideaway in the woods
Very secluded little hideaway in the woods. Very quiet with no neighbors and limited cell service. This was a perfect retreat to “get away”. Very close to beautiful beaches and wild scenery for day trips. Plenty of firewood on hand for campfires. Our Host Jimmy was great! He even brought over a Weber Kettle grill so that we could enjoy cooking most of our meals outside. Highly recommended!

This cabin is a must if you like the outdoors! Beautiful outdoors and the cabin was AWESOME the manager Jim was easy to communicate with, extremely helpful and a great guy! I would stay at this property everytime I visit the keewanaw. Cabin is very well stocked with everything you need and is very comfortable. Thanks for the great stay at your cabin!

Perfect Getaway
This was the perfect getaway that my husband and I needed. The cabin was located in the middle of a large woods at the end of a cul de sac road. There was very minimal internet/wifi which was what we preferred. The only sounds were the birds and squirrels. So peaceful! Our hosts were wonderful and kept us up to date on local happenings.

Great experience!
Our stay here was perfect! From the seclusion (no electronic distractions) to the doe who visited in the evenings, this was just what we needed. The cabin was clean and beautifully furnished, with plenty of room for the three of us. It felt much larger than we expected. Aside from the doe, we saw a lot of other wildlife nearby, including turkeys, eagles, and other fowl. While we didn't catch a glimpse of a bear, it was in the area and rustling in the brush. How did we know? The nearby scat we found the next day, combined with the way the doe hissed as she sped off, told us the bear was in the area. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful place to reconnect with nature. It is a bit remote and distanced from the local towns, with no cell service (AT&T), but we knew that when booking (and it was exactly what we were looking for). The host was terrific and checked in with us throughout our stay. He made us feel welcome and answered our questions. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Great Stay!
The remote location of this cabin makes it a great getaway. Great property with an awesome firepit area. The rest of the cabin was wonderfully clean and well maintained. Jimmy, our host, was always easy to contact and answered all our questions promptly. I will definitely recommend this place to people I know.
