Also, there was an onsite massage spa which was excellent.”

“I love this hotel! It’s clean and super safe (they have a security guard at the gate). The staff is helpful and welcoming. They can help you find restaurants, get a a taxi, even just answer questions about Tanzanian culture. Most speak very good English. The owner is onsite almost everyday and really nice. It felt like a home away from home. Don’t expect anything fancy though. The rooms are comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The top selling point is the atmosphere, which you can’t get at...

“This hotel is not in the centre of Arusha but you can walk if you want (should not be more than 15 minutes). Book a higher grade room, standard is too small (bathroom uncomfortable, no place to leave anything), and you can hear others. No mosquito net but then it is not needed. Staff are really very nice, and the restaurant is fantastic, highly recommended if you are patient. We did not try the pool but surely is a bonus.”
