Perfect stay at the beach

Less than 50 meters from the beach, perfect location. House itself shows wear and tear and the sleeping sofa in the bedroom is not usable, as the mattress is moldy. Overall though would recommend.

Need some simple upgrades in Kitchen

Owner needs to invest a few 100 for some basic kitchen equipment/appliances: Knives are really dull, one of the stove burners is not workings, the coffee maker is way too old, cooking pans are wrapped, no cutting boards, door to the washing machine is broken and falls on your shine. THe the BBQ is disgusting and is a charcoal grill (who grills on charcoal any more?).

Family Vaca

House and property made our family vacation perfect!! There was 11 of us including 2 toddlers and the house was perfect for all us. Morning coffee on the back deck was amazing and relaxing evenings in the hot tub was even better!

Relaxing beachside stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was great to get away from crowded hotels and tourist attractions to relax on a quiet beach and cook some meals from fresh farmstand fruits/vegetables and the fish market rather that eating out every meal. For those in our group that didn’t want to cook, the food trucks were only 10 minutes away.

House not as advertised

Pros: proximity to beachCons: the house is not as advertised and is in a state of disrepair. Hot tub had clearly not been serviced, blinds were broken, mold in bathrooms, baseboards were broken, rust all over the floors, paint was peeling off the walls, some outlets did not, and mirrors we’re damaged. The quality of the house was not reflected in pictures and is not what is expected given the price point. We will not stay here again.

Perfect place for Ohana!

We brought my elderly mom back to see her hometown and family one last time as she doesn’t like to travel. It was a great space to gather with family. The backyard gave space for the kids to run around with the beach right next to it.

Mostly good

We loved the location and views. We had a 4 bedroom house on the semi private beach. We enjoyed the chickens and the rooster that woke us up so we didn’t miss the beautiful sunrise. We did encounter a few problems first the dryer was broken but texting the caretaker he gave us a code to anther room with a dryer. Our biggest problem was the construction at the other house on the property. We had workers in our parking spaces which we had to ask them to move multiple times. They also turned off our water without warning for 2 hours the day before we checked out. We did ask for compensation for the inconvenience but got no response.

Great value for beachfront location

This house isn't fancy but it's very clean, comfortable and convenient. About 25 minutes from Waimea, about 10 minutes from Turtle Bay. Kitchen is nice and functional. We had 7 adults there and plenty of room. You face directly East and see a beautiful sunrise each morning. Your semiprivate beach is in a safe cove even with big winter surf your kids can boogie board there safely. Great value to me we loved it

Not exactly what we expected

In a nut shell this listing is was not given to us and we stayed in the house next to it. It lacked a lot of basic amenities but made up for it by its location and the semi private beach front. There is not ac. They did not have trash bags or laundry soap or a dust pan. Overall the stay was amazing despite the discrepancies and we had a blast on our honeymoon. thank you

Terrific home right on the beach

Great location on a really pleasant beach with dining and great scenery nearby. The description indicated that there was no AC and I would be lying if I said the house didn’t need it. I’m sure natives are totally used to the heat and humidity but I’m from the gulf coast of south Texas and I found myself wishing there was an extra refrigerator large enough for me to climb in and sleep in.

Amazing Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. The house was a described in the listing. The views from the back porch were AMAZING!!! If we had any complaint, it was the heat and no A/C, but we purchased a few box fans and remedied that problem, pulling the ocean breeze indoors with the fans. We would definitely stay here again.

The advertising said there was air conditioning which there was none. Also several ceiling fans were broken making it very hot in the rooms. Also the washer was broken..

Graduation Trip

House was absolutely perfect for our trip. Well maintained. Semi Private Beach is within feet from property made for wonderful beach time and amazing views. Sunrises were speechless. Listening to the sounds of the waves at night was so relaxing. Teens had a blast playing basketball and having the spacious backyard was great. Beds were comfortable. Big spacious kitchen, laundry on site. Beach towels, boogie boards, snorkels, beach toys and hot tub were perfect to complete our stay. Host and Caretaker were amazing. Very responsive and so friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beach, great house

The house is perfect for a family. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The semi private beach is incredible. we enjoyed it a lot. The beach towels are great, but the rest of the linens could be improved. We had an issue with the hot tub. It was super gross. The maintenance company for the property did not do their job. My husband spent over 2 hours cleaning it so we could use it. The property manager Istiban and the maintenance man, Sam are great. Great communication and helpful. If you stay here with your family or friends I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay. Polynesian cultural center in 4 mn away, Long's drugs is 2 mn away, Food land grocery store is 8 mn away.

Graduation Trip

This house sits on one of my favorite beaches in the North Shore. Absolutely picturesque! The house was perfect for our party of 8. 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the few meals that we ate there at the house. Perfect location, super close to the PCC. BYU Hawaii, and Kahuku. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place needs adjustments

We loved the area and the great beach availability. Hers are the things we feel need improvements on. Aloha, Please report the following for da house: 1- broken shower adjuster 2- non locking windows 3- dirty windows 4- house not prepped for guests 5- not enough portable chairs for beach 6- no bbq spatula 7- very dirty couches inside and out. 8- no ironing board 9- no cooler 10- no condiments 11- hole in comforter 12- broken screen door 13- broken refrigerator on deck 14- spa guy working at 630 without notice 15- person getting something from outside closet without notice . OTHER THAN THAT, The location was absolutely PERFECT !!!

Great 50th birthday with my family!

The property was perfect for my large family to spend a week in Hawaii for my big 50! The beach was amazing and easy to navigate, great was swimming or just sitting on the beach. The property had plenty of space for everyone. The house wasn't the original one listed but it worked out perfect for us. Great location, very private and quiet.

Semi private beach

Had a awesome time at this house. Really enjoyed the semi private beach did not get the original house we booked but this house was just as good. Neighborhood felt very safe. Would definitely recommend for a stay on the north shore
