I didn't love anything. When I checked in, it was already after 10pm. I found all the appliances pulled away from the walls, the dishes and utensils were put onto the couch area and several outlet/light covers had been removed. I took photos and emailed them to Vacasa customer service. They responded by saying that because it was late, the local representative would contact me the following morning.
The next morning I received a call from the local representative who informed me that there was a scheduled pest control service and if it was okay for them to perform the service at that time (around 9:30am). I had already left the room and would not be available till late afternoon. The local rep said that they could have me stay in another room that night.
I went to see the rep at about 4pm and he said it was taken care of. I didn't think they would enter my room without my permission, but they had entered and I also didn't realize that they had treated the room with some kind of chemical(s). I had asked the rep if I am changing rooms, and he said there was no need to as it had been taken care of. Had I known that they had sprayed something in the room, I would have insisted on not sleeping in the room.
