Couples Get Away
The overall experience and stay was fantastic! This is a beautiful place and very clean. Come as a couple or bring the family…either way there is ample amount of space to entertain and enjoy one another. I would definitely stay here again.

Did not get to stay here
We didn’t receive check in directions until after asking for them and they did not send them until midnight. We were supposed to check in at 3:00. I then had to book a hotel room on top of the fees charged by this property. The manager answered the phone and promptly hung up when called. Then the number was out of service. Not a reliable host. I would not book here.

The Loft was absolutely beautiful. We only used half because we only needed one bedroom. But this place is so huge. It would be perfect for two couples because there’s two king suites and they’re on complete opposite sides of the building. There is room for improvement with minor maintenance. Like I said it was minor. The lighting was also very confusing a lot of remotes and switches. I think what bothered me most was in the description it states TV with cable/satellite. He has basic cable. No other channels. We tried logging in our Netflix or even mirroring our iPhones because it was a smart TV, but the remote to the actual TV remote was not present. The balcony was a great addition! Plenty of towels and linens, Beautifully decorated, Lots of pillows and comfortable bed.

Beautifully furnished and spacious
Wonderful stay! The loft is beautifully furnished and spacious. The master bath is huge and there were plenty of towels and linens. Quick reply when questions are asked. We would certainly come back!

We were in the area to visit family. This is a great property. I think you would be hard pressed to get 12 people in there comfortably. But for 4, it was just right!

Great location!
Wedding party used two properties of Thomas’ which had hallway separating for our entire wedding party. Bridesmaids on one side and groomsmen on other and all were college friends who loved being able to spend time together visiting and playing games in between wedding events. Worked perfectly! Really nice properties and safe!

Please invest in new bed pillows!
The loft was truly lovely, clean and spacious, with a wonderful kitchen we made full use of. The pillows in the big bedroom are terrible! Too flat or hard as a rock - please invest in new ones! Also, the temperature control of the shower in the big bathroom appears to be stuck at scalding. I could not get it to change or get cooler at all. It could prove very dangerous for young children or older adults.

Nicely appointed
Unique space, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Location is great we walked to restaurants and shops. Even enjoyed the small balcony in the evening. Only suggestion is it needs a good dusting (ceiling fans, window ornamentation, items high up.)

Home base for state parks visit
The loft apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants, shopping, markets; accessing I&M trail; and driving a few miles to Starved Rock, Matthieson, and Buffalo Rock State Parks.

Enjoyable stay
Enjoyed having LOTS of space for relaxing mornings and evenings while exploring the nearby parks and other attractions. Arrived to find old food in fridge, dirty dishes in dishwasher, and bed sheets felt they were not cleaned from prior stay. Easily resolved all 3 and did not impact our stay.

Good Times in Lasalle
Great place to stay. Close to several great State parks. Loft was beautifully furnished. Two separate masters was a bonus. We would definitely recommend you stay .

This is a beautiful, modern, clean space with all the amenities and supplies we could need. Lots of room to spread out, with two very large ensuite bedrooms on opposite sides, with a large living and dining area. Only complaint is that the wifi is quite spotty.

Great space in convenient location.
Nice layout for a group of old friends getting together. Could spread out and get social time or time alone if you wanted it. Love the town and the ability to walk to anything. Great hiking at Matthiessen. Only negative was one of the showers ran soooooo hot it was unusable. Called rep to see if they could fix but never heard back.

Great Apartment for family trip to Starved Rock & Matthiessen
We were planning a trip to the area to check out starved rock and Matthiessen, as well as the Lasalle peru area. I was trying to decide between the cabins in or near Starved Rock, where the only restaurant is the Starved Rock lodge, versus this downtown area where we'd have to drive to the parks but have more options to eat. For our family this was better. If you are planning on bringing food and cooking, and spending the bulk of your time hiking then this still would be great it is just a short drive from the parks. I'd definitely stay here again. The apartment is really large, with one bedroom at each end so our kids could go to sleep early in one bedroom, while we were still up. I love that it was decorated with things from the store downstairs, what a cool idea, and very nice decor. Nicely stocked with dishes, towels, bedding. Great location to walk to area restaurants. 2 winners were Uptown Grill and Obees sandwiches. Was surprised however that many restaurants are closed on Sunday.(obviously that has nothing to do with the property though!) We had a couple quick questions at check-in about parking and wifi. The owners were quick to respond and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out process. Overall we were very pleased.
