“The Mactoimin Cottage was perfect for us. We were out early every morning for hikes and back late in the day. A couple days we were back early for coffee on the porch and soaks in the hot tub. “Wonderful experience for our group of 5 adults. Beautiful views, great deck for morning coffee.And we were greeted by seals floating in the water near the house, in the morning. The tea drinker in the group was grateful for the teapot in the kitchen. Very responsive owner/manager. He answered questions immediately. Property is steps from an 80 acre nature preserve which we took full advantage of. Just a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. !”

“We came to Cheticamp to see the rug hooking experts and we were very pleased. The people we met and the rugs that we saw were absolutely GREAT. We also had a great trip on the Cabot Trail! The house was perfect. Well appointed, lots of room and everything we could ever want. It was perfectly located - near everything that one could want in Cheticamp. We loved the bakery Au Coin and the restaurants in the area. A great vacation place! Thank you.”

“My family and I loved our stay. The cottage is cute with a beautiful view of the sea from the deck. I walked to the beach several times each day and enjoyed the amazing scenery. Nearby Chéticamp is quaint and has all you need for a relaxing vacation. The Cape Breton Highlands National Park offers breathtaking views from your car and even more to explore and see on its hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.”
