“We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Kyoto. Sandy and her husband were so kind and helpful. They provided a walking tour to the closest grocery stores, restaurants, bicycle rentals, train stations, and bars. We had 7 guests, including teens. There are 4 bedrooms, one on each level, with floor beds. The listing states one bathroom-there are actually 2 toilets-one on the first floor and one on the third floor. There is one bathing room or shower room. This worked well for us. ...

“The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient.”
