A guy who lived there was outside and let me borrow his phone, so I was then able to call and get instructions. There was apparently a key box, and they gave me the code. “Annie, the host of this rental, was very quick in responding to any question. This is a nice quiet condo that fully matches its description. “Slow drain in bathtub, there was ankle deep water before the water got hot for my shower. No air conditioning. There was A Lot of highway noise as we had to open up all the windows to get cooler air into the room. Early morning chickens were also quite in evidence. Very good restaurant on site. “Molokai is the anti-Hawaii protagonist. Sleepy, simple, inconspicuous. Stay at Kepuhi and one of two tuinfs will happen. Hate it or love it. We loved the location atvthis former grand Sheraton resort. The grounds are still well manicured, the pool tidy, the nearby beaches spectacular. Our upstairs condo unit with ocean view was compact, a little dated but overall suitable for 90% of guests. We loved having self-prepared dinner sitting at the balcony. Host Tom was sincere and accommodating....

“Perfect vaca property for us! The unit was sufficiently stocked with day to day kitchen tools, linens, etc. and perfectly furnished to relax and listen to the sounds of the crashing waves! We found its location to be close enough to the town to drive in when we had a need or just wanted to go on an adventure. A rental car is recommended to get the most of this perfectly calm non touristic island! I highly recommend this however I wish not to tell a soul so that it stays as is!”

“We enjoyed the rental very much. It is far from town but we rented a car and got our groceries and supplies. We did end up buying to much so it’s donation to the cleaners. The views and walk to the beach are fabulous. The only thing is the red sand/ dirt. Trying to keep our feet and shoes clean. Some of the cooking supplies were broken or unusable. We did buy new and left them for the next guest. ”

“This was our first trip to Molokai and we loved it! This home was beautiful, comfy and cozy. With 4 of us staying here, there was plenty of space to relax and enjoy. I loved the lanais and being able to sit out there and enjoy the island breeze. Being walking distance to the beach was great too for the times we wanted to pop over the beach, but didn't want to take a drive. I am definitely adding this home and location to my annual vacation roster!”

“I didn't like the room location because it was near the highway. Late at night and early morning, traffic was noisy. The room was okay but the bathroom toilet needs an upgrade due to filling and flushing took many flushing and slow to fill. The bathroom sink leaked and there was no way for me to stop the leak. There was no internet for television and the remote control didn't work. There was no place for dining or order food nearby. The bed was very uncomfortable because it wasn't firm....

“We loved the prime location near the shallow south coast and the tropical west coast. We were not able to access Wi-fi while we were there, which was a frustration. The host did try to help us resolve it. I was warned ahead of time that WiFi in general on Molokai can be hard to get reliably so it didn't really affect our trip. Since the point of Molokai is to unplug and unwind, it actually ended up being a benefit.”
